>THREE HUNDRED AND THIRTY FIVE (365) DAYS AVERAGE, PER BRANCH
This chart has a longer range and it SMOOTHES OUT every outlier because it is the amalgamation of a full year of streams condensed in a single point in the chart.
For a seasonal industry as vtubing, with annual events (anniversaries, birthdays, tournaments) being the big marquee streams, having this range leaves no outliers to detract from the trend.

Here are some comments

1) Hololive (the japanese branch)
They seem to have had a period of relative stagnation and even a certain recline between the start of the range for this chart (Oct 2021) to July 2022 when, all of a sudden, they ZOOMED up, first with a small incline from the 9.5k range to around 10k then with a more or less continuous growth all the way to their current 12k(!) 365 days average.

2) HoloEN
HoloEN climbed down from the "Mythmania" year which fully fell out of the range of this chart around March 2022 and then had a period of relative stagnation, reclining from 8k in March that year to 7.7k in August that same year.
The branch then had a SHARP YEAR LONG SLIDE all the way down to the 6k line, bouncing back up with the debut of Advent and remaning stable at their present point since them.
As for what might have caused that slide people have their pet theories which will surely be discussed down the line

3) Nijisanji (the japanese branch)
They had a more or less continuous improvement in their numbers, with summer of 2022 being the culmination of a "year mirabilis" of sorts but their current trajectory is a slow glide down to where they started in the first place, a worrying sign given how their main competitor is doing in their local market.

4) VSPO
Starting from a modest position, on par with HoloID at the start of the range of this chart, VSPO did nothing but a gradual incline starting in early 2022 through improvement of their existing streamers and acquisition of strong names (like Met) for their roster.
From the looks of their respective lines VSPO (and their current 20 girls roster) might catch up to Nijisanji in their 365 days average in 2024.

5) HoloID
They were in a slow and gradual slope into the 1k line up until the debut of their third gen which shot new life into their veins, pushing them to almost DOUBLE their average.
They reclined to a more modest 2.3k recently, not as high as their peak but higher than they could ever reach during their first two gens.

6) NijiEN
Their trajectory and the history of Luxiem go hand in hand.
They started small (below HoloID), continuously inclined to their highest point during Luxiem's first year and then are in an uncontrolled glide back to where they started in the first place.

7) StarsEN
They had a STEEP recline for their whole history up until the debut of ARMIS, then stagnated at that point (so far, one month down the line)
