I wish they would pull a Nene and just rebrand her in a more idol/gymrat type outfit like that Sparks one.
Her shit design has always debuffed her and doesn't even fit with her super genki type character.
It can't be stressed enough how much it had helped Nene to really bring attention to her and made her incline.

I like to think of it this way. The professional is often just being requested to design the character, following requests from other parties and interpreting those external visions into one design. The literal who coomer from Twitter probably is a fan of that Vtuber, knows a fair bit about the history of that Vtuber, probably has a genuine interest in doing something that the Vtuber might see and interact with, appreciate or even use in thumbnails, and most importantly: In this case, the person who has an idea for art of the character and the person drawing the art is the same person. It really comes down to if the artist carries the vision and has the passion and motivation to carry out that vision, and make something truly great, as opposed to just checking boxes to make a company happy.
