A corpo either just drove one of its talents to attempt suicide, or made her lie about it

Please don't associate all corpos with nijiblackji. Only the lowest most chinkese sweat shop corpos like blacksanji does this shit.

It's actually a family situation. Niji didn't help but it's ultimately Selen's family that sent her to the hospital.

If I were working for a company that drove me to an hero, I’d air out every single piece of dirty laundry I could beforehand. The fact that Selen didn’t do this makes me think it wasn’t a suicide attempt. Another point against it is the fact that her RM was tweeting during the period where she allegedly didn’t have her phone. There’s no way a hospital would let a suicide risk have any device capable of Internet access—anything with a screen is a potential one-way ticket to Slit-Wristville. This also eliminates the possibility of her being in the hospital for an accident at all, since no hospital would take a patient’s work phone but leave them with their personal phone. She got suspended and they made her lie about it in the one way that actually makes them look WORSE than if they’d just come out and said it.

Oh, and one last thing to ponder… why is this the only tweet I can find on Selen’s entire account that uses the curly apostrophe? Seems like someone wasn’t paying attention to what the default option on their phone was…

I usually don't rat, but as someone that speaks both English and Japanese, the wording in the second tweet looks like Japanese translated to English.

"Staying there for a few day" No native English speaker is gonna say staying there, they would say staying here. And there is no distinction for that in Japanese.

Also the last like "I just got back access to my phone" In English you don't need the "back" in there at all, but in Japanese you do, so the direct translation would do that.

I could be way off, but these seems like a tweet someone wrote in Japanese and used a translator for.

Not attempted suicide, because they keep you on watch for a week or more. And can't have phone entire time. No way she has her phone now if it was suicide attempt.

The writing style is also not typical of Selen at all. Among other oddities, she would definitely say “sorry” instead of “I apologize”.

I said this in another thread already, but the second sentence is very weirdly constructed. It’s not something a native English speaker would say. No native speaker is gonna say “I’ve been in the hospital after an accident and I’ll be staying there for a few days to be under supervision”. What you say is something like “I got in an accident and had to go to the hospital, so I’ll be under supervision there for a few days”. The order is all wrong. It doesn’t flow right in a way that only a native English speaker would recognize.

Also someone who’s currently hospitalized would just write “I’m in hospital” instead of “I’ve been in the hospital”. It’s as if it was written by an observer…

Maybe Europoors or Canadians but as a burger I've never used "I'm in hospital", I'd say either "I've been in the hospital" or "I'm in the hospital". Never understood the omission of the in that scenario. Then again I guess we don't say "on the vacation"

My focus was on the word “been”, as if explaining where you’ve been is more important than the fact that you’re hospitalized

Nah. If she attempted suicide. She wouldn't have gotten her phone back for a couple weeks minimum.
