For newfriends and fa/tg/uy crossovers: this is a Hunter: the Vigil campaign hosted by the fabulous ladies of the Hololive English branch, a World of Darkness homebrew mixing elements of older and newer iterations. Most of the tutorials feature them working out the mechanics of the campaign, with the hard-set rules coming in their first full session together.

THE CAST:
>Mori Calliope
The pink-haired, adorably awkward boomer reaper. The GM of the session. Has the most experience of the group in the realm of tabletop; most consider her a journeyman TT'er.
>Takanashi Kiara
An explosively extroverted phoenix, as well as the owner of the ever expanding restaurant franchise, Kiara Fried Phoenix. The only other member with any TT experience whatsoever; played a little D&D when she was much younger. Current character is an impoverished gunslinging noblewoman from a foreign land who can communicate with birbs, particularly her pet owl, Uhu.
>Ninomae Ina'nis
Sweet-natured and soft spoken priestess of the Deep Ones. Newbie to the TT experience. Current character is a sleep-deprived, strung-out college student with a talent for both crafting and killing things with a car.
>Amelia Watson
An animal loving, time travelling detective, known for her rough-and-tumble approach to life. Another newbie to the TT experience. Current character is a malodorous, laconic drug dealer and herbalist from an impoverished slum who gets his way with intimidation and his fists.
>Gawr Gura
An easy-going and amiable elder shark, formerly a resident of the lost nation of Atlantis. Yet another newbie to the TT experience (allegedly). After a lengthy character creation process consisting of many discarded concepts, she has settled on the party's final character: a tough-as-nails, illiterate country girl who lives on an isolated ranch and follows the family trade as a metalworker, forging both tools and blades of the finest quality. Alongside her crafting talents, she is both a hardy survivor and melee expert who likes to get in the thick of things during combat.

I'll rattle off a few small ones for general knowledge. Most likely she will elaborate on these of her own volition, but if not:

1.) Have you finalized the rules and mechanics of your system? If so, care to explain them a little more in depth?

2.) Did any of the other EN girls utterly surprise you with any of their actions / choices?

3.) Huntermyth has garnered a good bit of attention and a veritable ton of fanart. Did you expect it to take off like it has?

4.) The tutorial sessions alone have gotten close to four hours. How long will the group sessions be? Or will it be a matter of how each one progresses?

5.) The number "five" has been floating around for the group session count. Any chance of that number changing, should the campaign call for it?

It's a flawed gem, it plays kind of like a proto-Fallout 3 but with tight focused urban hubs instead of a sprawling open world, and more focus on problem-solving than clearing bandit camps. Lots of solutions to any given problem, and seven vampire clans that offer a surprising amount of replayability. The first couple of zones are 10/10 incredible, the gameplay is nothing to write home about but the atmosphere, quests, writing, progression, and environments are fantastic. Unfortunately the game's second half starts to feel unfinished and has some pretty serious bugs (the game can't be beaten without patches). Also, early on the game is good about providing cool alternative ways for social/stealth/magic builds to solve problems, but the latter half has a lot of bullet sponge bosses and long dungeons. So you kind of get fucked if you don't put at least a few points into guns or melee. But it's still quite a good game overall.
It's easy to pirate, the GOG version is DRM free and is pre-patched to fix most of the known bugs and issues with modern Windows PCs.

Something to remember: Tiara is nobility of a foreign nation. Just going off of Burger culture alone, celebrities and Hollywood actors (they're not nobility, but you get where I'm going) essentially have their own caste of brands and designers from which they select their garbs. So a woman born into a particular social rank could be dressed in an uncommon manner, it being a social obligation rather than a personal choice.

The people of Bhutan, particularly government officials and members of the royal family, are required by law to dress in traditional Bhutanese garb (so as to preserve their culture). Even IRL, such places still exist.

They're definitely going to vie for the leadership position in the party. Tiara is supposed to be a bit shy due to her status as a foreigner, but Kiara's IRL personality is going to come through at some point, and most likely she will emerge as the ultimate decision-maker for the party.

Scout is going to be their definite point-man, but an illiterate country girl with the intelligence of an alligator doesn't strike me as leader material.

Up to pinky, but I'm hoping the first session gets them outfitted and fills out their tactics sheet. J-Chad gives them a task that puts them in sufficient danger, but will test their abilities to work together in taking down a foe. All of the tutorials put them against insurmountable odds, but I'm hoping Calli will give them some even matches to start. Success should come down each PC using their abilities to the best of their abilities:
-Yuul: The initiator (if you've played a moba you should know what this role does, and how fuggin thankless it is). Have her charge into the foes and run them all down, disordering and possibly killing a few.
-Scout: The point-man. Get her in some kevlar / armor and give her the nastiest melee weapon available.
-Tiara: The tried and true Fallout strategy: aim for the eyes, both with guns and Uhu's claws.
-Watoto: Grab the foe from behind and snap their necks with those brawl skills. Amelia might also be respeccing Watoto before the session starts, so his role might change.

Stranger things have happened, but in the end the main leader comes down to irl personality, and the EN's group dynamic puts two people at the top of that list: Kiara and Gura. If Gura can RP consistently, I can see her being the primary decision-maker. If not, Kiara will simply assume the mantle by virtue of her extroverted, confident personality.

Hopefully Calli won't have to do too much tardwrangling. I'm going to assume any disagreement (say over which plot hook to follow) would be resolved with a contested roll. Maybe some WoD nerds could elaborate on how a player-vs.-player contested roll works?

Any thrall taking out a taking down their regnant hard work. They're supernaturally compelled against harming them, and very easy to dominate. It does happen, although revenants and dhampirs tend to do it a fair bit more than ghouls.

Blood bonds are still a thing, and ghouls are still addicted to Vitae, but it's not love. It certainly can turn into that, but it can be a million things depending on what their relationship is actually like. Either way it's always a really fucked desire for attention, you'll always be very easy to manipulate by their hand, and harming them becomes unthinkable (the equivalent of mass murder).

From what I've gathered, Vic didn't heal Yuul fully, as she's still critically wounded, just out of aggravated damage range (she took 2, I believe?). If he used some kind of vamp healing to ghoulify Yuul, wouldn't the healing be more thorough?

Nah. Healing with Vitae isn't super effective. You spend 1 Vitae to heal 2 bashing or 1 lethal, or you can spend for 5 and a full nights rest they can heal 1 aggravated. This is the same for ghouls, expect it's two nights rest for the agg. This isn't something the blood just does though, you have to intentionally do this. (It happens automatically in daysleep but that's not a ghoul thing). Yuul was on 2 agg 4 lethal, and then healed enough to be on a -1 penalty which means the left most boxes had to be empty, which means she healed 2 lethal damage minimum. However that's not what happened at all, Vic didn't create a ghoul because that would mean Yuul healed herself and that's just not what was narrated. Now, there are ways a vampire can heal others but I'm going to guess it wasn't anything in VtR that he used. The only method to heal someone as was demonstrated by Vic is the 4 dot Crochan power called Blood of My Blood. Lets you spend Vitae to heal a mortal as if they were yourself, doesn't incur a blood bond either. It's possible Vic is one of The Bron, a Ventrue bloodline, but I doubt it. It would make a lot of sense for him though, given his role Crochan is an incredibly useful Discipline to have. I think it's more likely she's pulling from VtM and he's got access to Obeah which has similar, if not a lot more boring, healing powers.

Although as an aside, Yuul should have been more fucked up than she was when she got healed. She had full Lethal damage and hadn't received medical attention. That means she's bleeding out and continues to take 1 agg per minute. Conservatively she should have been on 4 agg 2 lethal.

Ina's intro was really creepy in a good way though. That frat party filled with women respecting fratboys who pound brews and hunt monsters almost felt like she was surrounded by robots watching her more so than real human beings. I found it surreal and unsettling.

You read the wrong wiki pages, but the WoD wiki fucking sucks for CofD stuff anyway. Animals ghouls exist, and so do plant ghouls very rarely, and a few other fun things. Notably it's got Amaranthine Cats which are one of the best things in WoD as a whole, self-ghouling street cats that hunt vampires. Very silly, super fun. Revenants aren't the same thing at all though, the CofD equivalent are Ghoul Families. Very similar conceptually, although the exact mechanics differ. Instead of just having a Discipline set and a Weakness, they get a Strength and Weakness which tend to be more mechanically interesting. They're clanless, can't Embrace, can't make ghouls or blood bonds, only learn Disciplines out-of-clan and never unique ones, can't get more than 1 Blood Potency, they store less Vitae, and if that wasn't all bad enough they lose all their Vitae when they wake. They can be uplifted to become a full Kindred though, and they've got a fun psuedo-Discipline that's just for them all about survival and feeding. They have a few other things going on here and there too, like they have high Blood Sympathy for their Sires, which means they can sense them better than normal Kindred can. So Revenants are often used as trackers to hunt down their Sires because making Revenants is against the rules.

As someone who attended a handful of frat parties (and oddly got invited to join two), I can say with confidence the party in Yuul's tutorial was a bit more on the crazier, less common side. General debauchery and underage drinking run rampant at such events, but it usually doesn't get too terribly rowdy. Too many police calls can cause a frat chapter to get disbanded pretty damn quick. One of the chapters on my campus was dissolved after they got busted for hoarding marijuana.

From what I recall, Calli described him as a relatively recent medical school graduate. Most US med graduate student are around 26 when they exit. However, this might actually be a bit misleading depending on whether she ever elaborates if he's a full doctor because if he is, then he has to be early 30's at minimum. Med students are required to take at least three years of residency which involves a supervisor doctor and a related hospital/clinic which a trailer does not qualify as. He needs to invest a few more years if he chooses to undergo a fellowship for a specific practice.
