It's only her originals where she sounds off, specifically the ones made by the Asteroid members. I think what happens is that the mixdown of the originals have her voice multiplied and turned a bit down so it harmonizes well with the more empty segments of the instrumentals, and whoever mixes her live performance singing just ignores that and throws basically her raw voice on the track and doesn't equalize them with the harmonies either, which are very important as many segments are unsingable live without taking a breath or she sings two different lines at the same time at parts. Between the choreo and the writing, these are not stage songs unfortunately, and the lazy audio mixer on Cover's behalf isn't helping either. But for example TGW had some weird volume issues as well where Kiara sounded too loud and too quiet at different parts (probably her mic wasn't affixed properly to the suit and as she moved around, the distance between the mic and her mouth changed with the choreo moves constantly).
Or maybe we listened too much to her songs so we pick up anything minor that's inconsistent whereas we're not so familiar with the covers she sang so it sounded fine.

nta, and I agree in general that the sound of the live had issues - mostly that for many songs the bgm was too muffled or low in the mix, which seems to be a common theme in recent Holo lives so whoever does the sound engineering for them at Cover is doing a bad job. But I'll comment on this:

Holos are generally not singing+dancing at the same time at their 3d lives. It's not just that it's all just prerecorded in the first place, but typically the dancing parts are recorded separately in the 3d studio without the singing, and the singing is recorded separately in some booth, without the dancing. If it was truly simultaneous, you'd think we'd see a lot more evidence of that, from benign tells like talents being noticeably out of breath, to obvious scuff like flubbing lines or getting offkey. So Kiara being too loud/quiet during the song has little to do with her mic placement moving as she danced, because she wasn't doing it at the same time. It's likely just the sound engineer being lazy and not doing some basic post-processing to even out her vocal take.

The camerawork during the UI-BEAM part was so fucking weird and the flames popping up behind and to her sides had like no impact because the camera was looking down from above and to her right. It was a really weird choice for sure and a fixed camera in front of her/the stage would probably make it way better.
