"Without VAE" is impossible in stable diffusion models as the VAE is what gets you the transformation between latent and image. Hence you are either using an embedded VAE from the model or the default sd 1.5 vae (which is the unsaturated one people call out when they tell others to "use a VAE" instead of telling them to "use another VAE").
But this is just semantics. From my own experience, by not using rescale cfg with EF you usually get dull and brown colors so not sure what you have done unless you catbox an image.

Full module lycoris is basically dreambooth/finetune. so you use same settings you would use for dreambooth. Author of lycoris has an example:

Try something similar like: LR 4e-6 / 1e-6, batch 4-8, cosine and train for 20-60 epochs
And update sd-scripts and lycoris to latest versions. on some versions it doesn't train at all

Picrel is my settings, but it's probably not useful. I resumed training multiple times and settings were changing

NTA but not necessarily, x-formers changes results each gen, 1.6 has issue in webui where if you swap models before gen, the gen will be different unless do that same model swap before gen, if you use padding setting on the webui, etc etc. quite a few reason why it may be different.
