for whatever reason, she didn't speak up and say there were parts about her original design that she didn't like so the artist went ahead and did whatever they wanted. she ended up being too tall, too busty and too orange over what she really wanted.

Pochi (dog)'s redesign is fine IMO but the thing is it looks weirdly too-different from her old model as usually a 2.0/3.0 model is still going to be generally in the spirit of the original design, instead of a total re-do, so it will literally always be controversial. Kaneko Lumi did a pretty thorough redo and a fair few people still like her older model over it to this day, it probably will never fully be accepted.

Also her heterochromia looks too weird, she should have had either two blue eyes to match her old design or just gone with two brown eyes (which looks cuter on that model to me anyway). both just looks a bit indecisive, kind of like deviantart OCs wind up being clusterfuck mashes of what should have been 2-3 different characters.

Idol has become the worst Vtuber company after Wactor, by allowing its talents to do whatever they want with their Vtuber models, and allowing internet pedophiles to participate in the chat, thanks to "loli-bait".
Most of Idol's talents are lolis, and the company uses this to attract degenerate audiences.
Because of this, the only options that idol gives her talents to choose vtuber models are "loli models".
Considering that idol gives too much freedom to his talents, it is also bad. There you have the case of the change of pochi model, and the "creative freedom" of Riro Ron.
Pochi should never have changed her model to attract that audience, but as always people become corrupt, and seeing that she saw that lolis were more profitable, she decided to change it. It's a shame that the essence has been lost. Blonde Pochi really matched her personality a lot.
