Looks like she won't be able to join this year's Mario Kart tournament because of a very very very important thing she has to do that day. I wonder what it might be, something work related or just a family trip like last year? She also acknowledged that she can't use her New Year's outfit this year, so I guess there won't be a stealth costume update like she ended up getting last year. A shame, I really love that outfit. I guess she can still use the generic 3D Yukata this year, I don't think we've seen her new model year these yet.

There's another one of these streamer servers going on just like the one that Aki and Fubuki joined a couple of months ago, this time for GTA. They are usually filled with male e-celebs, which doesn't sit well with a lot of the Vtuber audience who don't like to see that kind of interaction. There seems to be some drama about one of the new Regloss member joining it and making fun of people that felt betrayed by that during a drinking stream.

I don't follow Nijisanji so these names don't really speak a lot to me, but if even Fubuki had something to say for those graduation then they must certainly have been important. It always sucks when a chuuba graduates, so all I can do is wish them all the best in their new endeavors.

This is the first time I hear of such a server, but it does sound rather, well, toxic? I guess? It's a shame people still whine about stuff like that, really.

I think that's always the problem with these things, it's understandable people wouldn't want to watch things they don't like but a lot of people throw a hissy fit instead of just not watching it. I wasn't a fan of the ark server either because I don't care for ark and never liked streamer servers, that being said I'm not going to start crying online about it and saying shit about Fubuki, I just didn't watch a lot of it. It's just a stream of a game with other people what's there to care this much about, not like that's their main form of content now.

I barely follow anyone outside of Fubuki these days at all, so I can't say they were overly familiar but I believe I've seen the former before, she was on a team with Laplus before and appeared in her recent live. Even if I don't particular care about these two, it's always sobering to see people that have been around this long leave. We are all in denial that that day will eventually come, and I imagine that's the kind of shock that Fubuki herself felt when she heard the news. Thankfully it doesn't seem like she is planning to go anywhere anytime soon.

These kind of servers have been around, but you didn't really see Hololive members join them until earlier this year. Some of them like Laplus, Botan, Towa and Aki barely do anything else but hang out in them whenever there is one lately. I can see that some people, especially long-standing fans, would not appreciate that kind of shift in content. I wasn't all too thrilled when Fubuki joined the ARK server either (because I'm not too fond of that kind of interaction and when people join these kind of servers, they tend to do nothing but stream that for a couple of weeks because these servers are always time limited), but it happened at a time where she was very busy and didn't end up playing on it very much, so it didn't end up mattering. I guess I can kind of see both sides in the Ririka drama to a certain extent, this kind of content is just not for everyone, but the way she handled the people upset about it wasn't very smart, either.

I think that's what a lot of people are afraid of because there has been a precedent for that kind of thing. A lot of people that join these servers keep joining the next one whenever a new one comes out, so if you don't enjoy them, you are shit out of luck because that has now become a large part of what they do. Kind of a slippery slope argument, though.

I understand that argument and would agree we're it not for the fact that I doubt most hololive members would ever go that route. I don't mean anything negative by this, but towa, botan, laplus, and aki don't really surprise me that they keep joining those servers, they seem to like those kinds of interaction and want to keep doing them, but I doubt many other members or regloss are going to keep joining these. To be fair, I don't know what compelled them to join in the first place, but when Fubuki played on the ark server it felt more like a thing she wanted to do in the moment while it was there and not something she'd keep going back to every new server, she didn't exactly do much with the people on the server either and mostly kept to herself so I doubt she'd want to do it again if she was going to go solo. I still see hololive as an internal thing and don't really see most members going outside of their usual bubble, if some are going to join a server like this it's probably going to be a one time thing. I do understand that concern though and would also be a bit upset if that were the case, however I think most members are still far away from that ever happening, and even if it were, it's something to talk about when it happens and not acting like it already happened.

Thankfully that is extremely unlikely to happen. She only joined the ARK server to help out Aki for the most part. To begin with, she just isn't the type for this kind of content, she was super nervous and had trouble even talking to anyone and was super happy when she ran across a couple of people she happened to know. I don't see her doing this on a regular basis, she barely has time to do all the stuff she wants to do to begin with, so I don't see her playing daily 10+ hour sessions on these servers like some other people do.

And that goes both ways too, there's grifting going on on both sides, be it low-tier male e-celebs leeching of Vtubers or Vtubers wanting more fame in these circles by leeching off actually popular streamers/celebrities, almost everyone is there to try to grow their audience or their status in one way or the other, which just makes for a pretty bad atmosphere and makes these already boring games even worse. I agree with you, that situation with Roberu was actually funny and because they already knew each other and parted way after that conversation was over, it felt way more natural and not forced unlike a lot of these interactions.

I would honestly check any local store that carries it and check the quality personally. I bought Kaichou's jacket, Aqua's, Mio's, and Ui's, and I found the fabric to be a lower quality than what's used in the US. Granted I buy Carhartt for work, but it just felt really thin.
The quality has improved with the latest ones, Pekora's hoodie and Ayame's pants, but I wouldn't make assumptions with a new brand

I think I'm one of the few fans that doesn't mind her talking to guys. She streams every day and we know her personality pretty well enough to trust she's not trying to get in some dudes pants.
Having said that, I still don't like these servers a lot because some streamers that join clearly are only there to increase their viewers. They're not funny, not entertaining, and hang around just to appear in someone else's stream.

Tomorrow, she will be busy and we won't get a stream. There will be something fun to look forward to on the 15th. She also has a bunch of collabs lined up so we probably won't get many solo streams until next week. Speaking of which, a Getting Over It endurance stream for Christmas is getting more and more likely. She still needs 27 clears and there are only 18 days left in the year.

Also, she called whatever will happen once we reach the million on letter a 企画 (project, planed event etc) so that definitely seems more than a couple of wallpapers.

Views on VODs are still counted with ublock. It only affects you appearing as a live viewer on a stream, and from what I recall, it counts you when you load the page but then drops you when it does a polling update since it considers you inactive or the request gets blocked or something. You also still end up counting towards the stream VOD's view count when it ends in this situation.
It's a weird system.

That makes a lot of sense, thanks for confirming it. I thought I was going crazy at first because nobody in the comments mentioned anything about the leg. I then took another long good look at the picture and eventually figured out that he meant for the leg to be raised and it's just obscured by the sleeve. I've been hearing rumors they were getting back to bilibili but those were months ago when they started. She was asked for a funny anecdote that happened this year, and ended up talking about her cats. Apparently, Leo had trouble shitting into the cat toilet for a while and ended up shitting on carpets and mats and stuff and she didn't manage to convince him to do it properly. She observed her other cat, Azu, demonstrating how to do it and trying to teach it to him and it looked like he understood there for a while, but then prompt ended up shitting right next to Azu instead of in the toilet. Cat shit isn't that big, I can imagine it happening while you are distracted on your phone or something and only noticing a few steps later. If you count music, it's Mio's birthday last week. If you count prerecorded variety streams, then it would be Korone's birthday in October. As for an actual stream, it might have been Korone's Doroken interview in September, but that was not an exclusive Gamers stream. Technically the Splatoon tournament was a bit of a Gamers collaboration, too, but obviously other people were involved. I can't remember the last ACTUAL Gamers stream. Yeah, I get that argument for zatsu. If you remove the chat and don't care for the extra atmosphere the backgrounds props are meant to give, going vertical works. Uta you have to also then forgo the song list and mic prop, or overlay them over the model, and at that point it's become an active detriment.
I just don't think forcing it on all viewers is good since a phone user can far more easily just turn their phone horizontally, and any desktop users that want a focused experience on the chuuba can just arrange their windows to get that same view, all while everyone else can still choose to get the full viewing experience.
We'll see though. I'll grin and bear it a couple of times if she chooses to do so. But Marine and a few others have decided it is THE format to use, and I feel I can't watch them anymore as a result cause it's just painful. I don't want that feeling to come to fbk as well.

I actually have all of my monitors on arm mounts and can also turn one vertically. The problem is, I actually use all of the monitors, and repositioning one after having it vertical just for a stream is actual effort, since I need to re-align and re-balance it.

Apparently the chat is overlayed on the stream itself, with transparency. While the more sensible option compared to scaling the video as it would with a horizontal one, this already nullifies the "better view of the chuuba" thing if you like to have chat open.
You only get a better view of their face (when the model is scaled to this size), as the elements cover half of the stream as a whole otherwise.

It actually appears to be a new feature that didn't exist on YouTube before. At least that's what most people make it sound like. The stream started out with her interacting with the Sukonbu and reading superchats until she was asked about her plans for the rest of the year. She is going to spend New Year Eve at Mio's house, but they currently have not planned a stream or anything because they have the New Year's Day stream with Ayame around noon and can't stay up too late because of it. They might do something spontanenously, but she doesn't know yet.

As for Christmas, she doesn't have any specific plans for a stream yet other than (probably) Sister Marine, but a late-night reverse Totsu with Polka late at night is currently in the planning phase. She isn't gonna have a sweet Christmas date with us Sukonbu on the 25th, but might have a Mengen on the 26th instead. Sukonbu asked her "what about Eve?" and she calls us greedy, but ended up giving in and suggested can watch a movie together, maybe Commando (again? is this turning into an annual tradition?) or Home Alone, she will create a poll on Twitter later. As for the Mengen on the 26th, she was thinking of maybe eating Christmas cake and/or KFC with her ASMR mic while doing a Zatsudan and maybe drink a little as well. Looks like we have most of the Christmas schedule planned out.

Someone asked her about her progress on Tsuboji in a Super Chat and she immediately realized she fucked up big time and immediately turned off the BGM and went into panic mode for a little. I thought she might have planned a "secret" endurance stream for Christmas or something, but she had actually legitimately forgotten about it and frantically checked her schedule for how many stream slots she has left. "What am I doing, now isn't the time to play horror games, I should be playing Tsuboji. How many times are there left? 27?!". She's actually getting a bit flustered as she realized that the upcoming week is filled with nothing but collabs so this is going to be very rough. She will try to cram in as many runs as she can, probably in the form of morning/noon streams, but this will probably result in an endurance stream before the end of the year. She had actually planned to watch season two of Uchouten Kazoku before Holocal ends and wanted to do it this year, but this will have to wait until next year.

Someone asked he if she plans to do another Oshi goods shrine stream and she said she was actually planning to do that, pr "MY obably around march.

She then mentioned she has been watching a lot of subtitled clips of (Japanese?) people interacting with foreign fans in VR Chat in English and thought that was very fun and the content of the conversation was interesting and that got her a little more interested in the language lately. She said she doesn't really know how to differentiate between different accents, she has a hard time telling if someone is from the US, UK or ESL and has been researching how to tell them apart. She has determined that people from the UK talk in a calmer, more neutral and collected manner whereas Americans are overly excited. She mentioned Jarvis from Marvel as an example of someone she thinks might be using UK English, and she seems to have guessed right. She personally likes the way how Americans sound more passionate, but she said as a fox, maybe UK English fits her better. Someone mentioned she has "passion English", and she tried speaking a little and determined maybe American fits her better, after all. She tried to pronounce "water" like an American would, sounded a bit like "wodda". Someone interjected "OHMIZU YEAH!", which she found very funny. She consulted Google-sensei to see how it pronounces "water" and tried to imitate it a couple more times. She goes back and forth with the Sukonbu and tries to interact in English a little. She is having a lot of fun with this today, a lot of EOPs crawled out of their holes, this feels like a 2020 stream. "TOTEMO OISHI OMIZU. BERY DERISHAS WODDA. YAMMY YAMMY OMIZU"". Suddenly lots of cat jokes, "GET OUT CAT, WELCOME FOX. NOO CAT NOO, VERY VERY FOX TEACHER" She plays around with Google Translate and repeats a bunch of phrases "PLEASE THROW THIS CAT AWAY. GOODBYE CAT. BRING ZA FOX INTO ZA HOUSE. I CANT ABANDON THE CAT. THERE IS A FOX IN FRONT OF YOU. WASH YOUR EYE! NO CAT, ALL FOX." She starts pretend to be frustrated for a little bit at being called a cat over and over again, but she is clearly having a lot of fun with this, you can definitely tell. This English conversation completely derailed the stream so she stopped reading super chats halfway through and only just noticed that it was already this late. A great stream, felt like a blast from the past. Definitely check it out if you can find the time.

I don't recall anything of note about the PC. She just joked around that it might be sick/scared of horror games because she has been playing them too much lately. The English part was roughly half of the stream by the way, definitely worth catching up on.
