Realistically, some of NijiEN's dudes are just too menhera to the point of being self destructive in the long term. They saw the writing on the wall of their k-pop viewerbase dwindling, they want to transition out of being gigolos, but can't because in Vox's case they've basically raised them on fanservice/coomer content. Or in Luca/Kyo's case, their reception among male fans is so sour that nobody wants anything to do with them after being given so many chances early on.

the fanbase for the girls is much more loyal. the audience gathered by the males is a bunch of teenagers/young adults from twitter who are fujos, kpoppers and have at least 5 different flags in bio.
that audience is a bitch and rarely stay loyal because they can't stay with one thing for long. that's the reality of it, do anything they find problematic and they are out in hords. and even if you don't do anything they dislike they'll leave eventually because they have the attention span of a goldfish and can't be settled into one thing for longer than a couple years max.
