Going for my second, actually. And to answer your question. Probably when my oshi graduates which seems actually possibly as of late. It's been a while since I've kept up with any other chubbas, back in 2020-21 I actually watched a variety of chubbas besides my oshi but now I just watch her (when she decides to stream kek).

I might stay longer for FWMC. They're kinda rekindling the flame a bit for me.

Well, vtuber scene will only grow over time and eventually it will be notable and organic part of the western streaming mainstream like its already is in jp. So I dont think ill stop watching vtubers in the future, I just won't be invested as much as I do now

I've been watching less and less as time goes on and I mature. One thing that accelerated this sentiment is the toxic, depressing, incel-y nature of the deeply parasocial engagement (this includes vtubers that explicitly partake in it), and I wanted to not associate with that in any way. I only watch and support highly entertaining vtubers, although nowadays merely through clips as my free time is being chopped away by my career and passions.

Most vtuber fans get more casual over time and there is only so many times you can see undiluted simping before you realize that it's best to view it like any other form of entertainment. I watch several vtubers from both Hololive and Nijisanji but not anywhere near as much as during the first year of Myth.

I'm a clipfag. Gone from Hololive > Niji > VSPO > Phase , jumped between other agencies and indies. I think I'm just burning through their clips until I eventually get tired of everyone in general then it's back to anime probably.

Yeah I know, I'm so above it all as well. I've got so many friends of whom some are actually women that I could date but I just don't have the heckin time for it! Currently working on my degree (Gender studies in case you were wondering), and trying to find time to hang with others in my peer group is hard enough, so any vtubers that I watch need to meet a darn high standard of entertainment to be worth my time. It's becoming more and more difficult because so many vtubers appeal to these incels by objectifying women and this really rubs me up the wrong way. I'll probably get downvoted for this but it's important to get my truth out there.

Anyways I think we should stick to Reddit. This place is making me dizzy!
