Ollie had one of the strongest debuts ever, but she failed to keep up her character for very long. The real her is quiet and vulnerable. Likewise, most of her chats were very mundane. She posed as an inexperienced girl and was overly cautious early on. People wanted Kureiji-ness but were met with sterility. You could say she fooled everyone, herself included.

Ollie has a decent variety of streams now, but I suppose the damage has been done. Maybe she could do a weekly short KUREIJI energy stream or video to get people excited again. Something 75 minutes or less.

I dropped Risu simply because it's clear she doesn't care or is lazy. I liked Suisei because she was driven and pushing herself in persuit of her singing. Risu 100% can compete with her musically, but she doesn't have Suisei's drive and passion. It's hard to be invested when the person doesn't care themselves. Which is why I actually ended up going from being indifferent to Bae to her being my favourite girl in EN. She does have genuinely cute moments and I just like how she works hard. My only issue with Bae is I have no idea how to picture her path copared to Suisei, who sings and wants to be a big singer. Meanwhile I thought Bae wanted to be a voice actress but she puts most effort into dancing and releasing music.

People really underestimate the importance of passion. It's one of the reasons I stopped caring about IRyS. She got mismanaged insanely badly and now even she doens't care about her music.

Used to like her when she was being cheerful and energetic, true to her name, Kureiji Ollie was entertaining to me.
Then a lot of shit happened, and she's no longer herself. She probably couldn't stop reading all the hate comments she received.
Doesn't help that she was the only HoloID member that was being actively harassed by the Indonesian fanbase.
I used to want to support her, but it's difficult when she keeps on being a downer. Idols are supposed to be so inspiring that people can't help but support them, Ollie is no longer like that.

What's Ollie's appeal? She's loud, annoying, crude, makes inappropriate jokes, coombaits a lot but has a gross zombie stick model, not the best singer and dancer, and the ID stuff is a big turn off. What are her goals? Playing with homos and Apex? It was only a few weeks ago for her birthday that she did a karaoke but kept making excuses as to why she wasn't great. That's not fun, just ignore all the hate comments. That's the audience she cultivated.

How many IDs are trilingual? Note, I don't care about the nonsense about Indonesia having multiple languages. I only care about actual languages people care about. Indonesian only gets counted as one in my book. And they all also speak English. While some also speak Japanese.

Yeah I'm sure it's because of her collabing with males and not becuase she's been around for 5.5 years and is now in an oversaturated market. She was/is a great entertainer, but newer vtubers have novelty and there are a ton of different people.

My point is there are a bunch of reasons some people may not have as much influence. Very few of them have the same numbers as before.

People don't like to say it but at the root of the homocollabing issue is the suspicion that the vtuber is much happier spending time with someone that they probably look down on (for various reasons), as compared to her own audience. Short streams don't help, and confirming that you play together off-stream is even worse.

One thing that is relatively easy to do that would probably go a long way towards having your cake and eating it too is to put in huge stream hours. But Ollie seems allergic to having a stream be longer than 3 hours most of the time.
