I don't understand why debut streams are on a time limit? Especially when there's nobody else debuting on the same day. None of their other streams seem to be timed, they can play R-Type for 12 hours if they want. So I don't get why debuts are the only streams that are like that. They always seem stressed and in a hurry and they shouldn't have to be.

Give you just enough to leave you wondering what future streams will be like, and hopefully entice you to actually watch the streams coming up to answer those questions.

Because no matter how much you autists bitch. The format is popular and works.
Nobody is going to watch a 3 hour fucking VOD of mostly dead air.

There will never be another debut like Korone's.

Kanae had a 9 hour debut stream.

Marketing tactics probably. "Leave them wanting for more", "only give them a peek", shit like that.
They could probably finetune it so they aren't in a desperate rush and can barely finish though... but who knows, maybe the notion that they didn't manage to get it all out is also just something they're told to do for marketing.

I get it and maybe they should relax the limit to maybe like almost over 1 hour. Though, I saw Finana's debut from NijiEN and she went on for WAY too long than she should've. Getting relaxed with chat even though I was mainly there to just learn who she is. It ruined my first impressions of her because I was getting pretty bored with the slowness.

A proper moderate pace is completely fine for a debut stream. Too short and it's hard for me to give a shit and too long is when I just say nope because I didn't sign up for 2+ hour stream.

Because this is their introduction and if there is a newfaggot that want to know her they just need to spend less than one hour to do it.

I actually sat and watched all of Finana's debut stream live. It was 2 hours long instead of the planned 20 minutes because of her stream getting delayed so they ended up combining it with the second stream. It was nice because unlike the other two she actually had time to breathe and could actually treat it like a normal stream. Mind you I haven't watched much Finana since then because I came to realize that she is not for me, but I appreciated that she had the opportunity to do it like that instead of the stressful hectic mania that Pomu and Elira had to go through. But I think Nijisanji had an excuse for the short streams because their plan was to have all three debut and then they would go to the main channel stream and premiere Diamond City Lights, but it didn't work out because of Finana's technical issues. I can imagine Pomu and Elira grimacing after realizing they rushed the fuck out of their streams only to end up sitting doing nothing for 20 minutes while Finana tried to fix her stream to no avail.

To be fair to Finana again, she was done reading her introduction by the 1 hour mark and the second hour was just stuff like coming up with the fan name, moon name, etc. which Pomu and Elira did on their second streams. It was two streams combined into one instead of just the debut stream so it made sense that it went on for a while.

Ahhh anon, you're right, good points. Yeah, I was sort of used to the 1 hour format and so I didn't anticipate 2 streams combined into one. Maybe I was too harsh on her.

In HL, traditionally every member spares a specific time period for special events, especially member debut when no one is streaming to let fans flood to the new member. If a new member drag out the debut stream, you will have schedule conflict.

Watch this instead, Subaru got horny on stream and the Nephilim destroyed her face as punishment.

1) It prevents tl;dw
2) Most of them are nervous for their debut and keeping it to a limited time makes it easier to handle

Because you're not allowed to stream during a debut or everyone makes adds it as a line in a copypasta about you being a bitch, and not allowing anyone to stream for 9 hours would be prohibitive

This. Almost like a trailer for what's to come.

>> No.6396350

A debut needs to rewatchable.

If it's 9 hours long then it becomes incredibly unpalatable. An hour tends to be the major cutoff point for most people. If not a few minutes.

The point of having a short debut is to make sure the important stuff is condensed down into it. Instead of across several hours.
