This may shock you to hear, but she was always a corporate mascot, from day one. She was established as a brand first, actual person second. Every video she ever did was pretty much just her chasing the same trends every normie youtuber would and the VA never came off as having any sort of connection to the kizuna model, outside of voicing it.

There's a reason she's almost never a part of the discussion when people bring up the most relevant and industry defining vtubers.
