Anon Imma be honest, to come to this conclusion you’d have to never have watched combat sports or have any knowledge of training at all. If your body isn’t conditioned to take punishment (within reason, hard sparring is often more detrimental than not) then someone smaller but tougher than you can probably beat your ass. Compared to some of the other studios, especially the likes of Mappa, Toei has a fairly decent work balance for the One Piece staff. A big portion of this is due to the sheer amount of staff that works on OP, allowing them to cycle staff frequently.

You also have a good break at the end of the year because of different prime-time programing that happens on Japanese TV for Chistmas, New Years, and other celebrations.

They're technically on break right now and the newest episode doesn't come out until Dec 3rd. They then have episodes for the 10th and 17th. Take two weeks off, and start on Egg Head proper.
