REALITY app

Seriously what is this app.. Some of these streams have higher numbers than gura. Im sure the metrics are lying but whats with all the production value of some of them? How are some doing things that doesnt seem possible within the app? Are some streams actually plants by the company?

Did some digging and it seems to be a Japanese company that also manages some vsingers and their app released pretty recently in English, it'd be pretty sad if they decide to shill their products on this shithole.

Reality is quite big back in the days, they host multiple 3D event with guest from Nijisanji,hololive and 774.
But all people knew about it is a platform willing to host event.
Rarely anyone use their apps. It is way too hard for a new platform to begin with. Not to mention it's mobile only, very difficult to register and use

BTW i quite like them. Because they host the first ever Vtuber Koshien, separate to 4 teams, 2 Niji team lead by Maimoto and Shishi, holo team lead by Subaru and Upd8 team lead by Utai Makea. It was such a fun and amazing event.
Newfag who came after 2020 can still find full archive. It is absolutely worth watching

yea i saw it mentioned that Hololive of all agencies have been on there. Didnt know if through coloab or if anyone just straight used it as a platform. Its not janky but there isnt much attraction to using a phone exclusively in order to catch someone. I could stream a vtuber just as easily off twitch or youtube. Its missing VODs which are a must for people who miss most streams or just dont have the connection to view live well.
The app just seems more focused on getting money from people decking out their own avatar than donating to others.
