Mumei's lead is nearly 60k larger, she was 100k lower at the beginning of 2023. Mumei has mogged the hell out of all the other girls and will pass IRyS in the next 9 days since IRyS seems to gain like 2000 subs a month which is equaled only by Kronii's absolute glacial pace. Fauna and Bae gain faster but are more than 100k below Kronii and will take a longass time to catch up.

Kronii gaining like 50k subs a year assuming buff events like holofes go smoothly means it will literally take her until october 2025 to make it to 1 million. IRyS will probably hit it in August 2024. Mumei will get to that point by as early as December 31st 2023.

Well it started with Youtube culling and removing them from peoples reccomended lists. Next the pandemic ended slowing overall exposure, Then EN2 had needlessly complex lore with absolute fucking Zero Wing level word salad lore that seemed to be hinting at a bigger overall story but instead lead nowhere making people feel like they wasted their time. You then went two years with no EN activity AND Irys being stuck with that horrid original model that everyone knew they were dragging ass on fixing. People just started giving up

The long break happened in 2022 due to throat nodule killed her channel in the algorithm and once you fell out of it, it's hard to get back again. Sub growth relies heavily on the algorithm (i.e: see how Mumei's sub growth remains virtually unchanged during her break relatively recently)
According to IRyS, YT has been removing a few thousands subs per day from her channel, too, but I think it's fair to assume that this happens to everyone so it's hard to say anything without knowing exactly how many subs YT is removing
