Honestly it's the responsible move, is she really going to be like 40 and still streaming games as an anime girl? If she was getting Gura numbers sure, you can probably retire after a decade in the vtuber mines, but she didn't. Now she has a career doing art with two of the biggest gacha games commissioning her. She's got a portfolio artists twice her age and twice her time in the business would kill to get, she's playing the long game.

It's just hilarious how not Hololive material she ever was given that pragmatic approach. Not idol-like at all.
