I'm going to accept this as a genuine ask and not somebody shitposting, so here are my genuine thoughts. You don't get the full experience by watching clips. Like most streams, clips are often highlights of some hehe xd funny moments or otherwise something that can be easily clickbaited. If you're truly curious about the appeal of Vtubers, I recommend that you just find one you're willing to give a try watching, and watch one or two of their stream vods. A lot of the ones in Hololive make music as they're trying for the whole idol group vibe, so maybe those will help you get a better feel of it. You can assess their regular streams the same way you would a webcam streamer, just watch the streams and form your own opinions. If you don't like it, it's really not for everyone, but don't let the fanbase dictate to you what's good and what isn't. Experience the content yourself and make your own opinions of it.

Here is the thing op, having read through you replies, I can tell you now that most of this board that says these girls are different from other egirls are just hypocrites or lying to themselves to justify arbitrarily hating other content creators.

The only way I subvert this trope is by simply put Twitch's lame ToS into play.
