I don't like nijiEN at all but I'd think it's kinda obvious vshojo bends over backwards to try to rush something out in order to attempt to get another black eye on a rival. After all if they can continue the demoralization of nijiEN maybe more members will be shaken off (to then be poached by vshojo).

It's in their interest to try to sabotage/tear down both holo and niji to poach their members. Vshojo should be seen as everyone's enemy, not everyone's friend, but whatever.

Vshojo only poach well-known talent these days. If you're not a 4view indie (i.e. already at the point where joining any other corpo isn't worth it) then you gotta use holo or niji as a stepping stone. Even then, there are pros and cons of being in vshojo vs being indie or in Mythic Live, you have to weigh them up based on your popularity, financial situation, pre-existing network, self-management skills etc. That said, the onlu reason to join NijiEN whatsoever now is to use it as a stepping stone.

Let's not pretend joining vshojo is even a possibility for random indies.
They only hire from their friend circle and from the pool of graduated vtubers of other corpos. I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with that, it's their business model and it works for them, but joining niji makes sense because joining niji is actually possible for indies.
Niji has auditions, to join vshojo you need to get into their friend circle.
