I dunno. But I'm never fond of those stream overlays, since they take up screen real estate and fuck with the lighting of some games. Henya's able to lower the brightness of her model even for darker games, so she doesn't stick out like a sore thumb in pitch black games.

Henya's overlay is very spartan when compared to most of twitch, though it became a little cluttered around her birthday because of all the merch. The overlay shouldn't have information that's available easily somewhere else (like game name, hashtag) and merch, while being annoying, is necessary for financial reasons.

in practice, they stay until a ToS / community guideline change gets the channel banned 4-5 years afterwards (all yt changes are retroactive, always have been). somewhat off: not gonna link my channel, but I had a music video age restricted 12 years after upload, and it has over 100k views (the music label had it monetized until then). I'd much prefer if VTubers embraced alt tech a little bit more under whatever BS excuse (as to not cause a PR disaster), paid the pro tier fees then let the platforms do the automatic mirroring for cheap.

I don't get Henya's taste in games sometimes, she seems to like and dislike games at random and becomes really set in her opinions. I can't tell if it's just because she is extremely gullible and falls for any slop she sees as long as it's presented nicely or if she just has some sort of vibe for games that I can't decipher.
