On a real note, why were the superchats so low this year? I get that she totally abandoned her fans for like 3 weeks at that point, but she did the same thing before her birthday and still got paid big.

EN ain't that stingy on supas, if anything they give more supas per CCV since JP blows EN out of the water in CCV. As for Gura, this anni stream was less than half the length as her previous and she made it obvious she was watching the clock to hit the 1 hour minimum and peace. Anon, Gura has abandoned us for far longer than 3 weeks this year. It's been nothing but constant, unannounced breaks where she cuts off all communication while she's gone.
She refused to even try and stream from Japan even thoughs she said she would and she's gone at least 3 times now, often for weeks at a time. The first one was months.
She won't talk to us. She won't say what she does during her breaks. Why would anyone trust her at this point? She never even talks to us about her projects or concerts anymore and besides required streams like birthday or anniversary, whenever she comes back from her extremely long breaks all she does is advertisement and sponsor streams.

Gura has the lowest streamed hours in all of hololive for 2023, even lower than Haachama, who was completely gone for 8 months.
These are her breaks in 2023 lasting longer than 5 days, nearly all of them were unannounced and she never talked about them.
1-01 to 1-24 (25 days) (she took part in Towa's Mario Kart Tournament on 1-07, but with no POV or VC)

I was cautious with her at first because she seemed twitch-like, but between the recent members stream and a few other events I think she is starting to 'get' hololive.
