Koreans always prefer a home grown option to a foreign one, particularly a Japanese one. Once national pride gets involved they will numberfag on a level that is actually insane. See various Korean or Korean-American sports figures. Might be hard to separate from Cover being a JP corp. Equally as bad, possibly worse. I don't speak Japanese, but I do speak Korean, and I looked at Korean Duolingo when a friend asked me if it was a good way to learn. It's terrible. Genuinely, you'd learn more in an hour or two doing self instructed study online than you would in weeks of Duolingo Korean. It's shockingly bad, and the TTS Korean voice has pretty bad pronunciation.
