I'm tired of seeing people say "Gura doesn't care." If she didn't care, she would be streaming every day just to clock in just like your average indie vtuber, and then wonder why views are dropping.

"Isn't this what you wanted?" the indie cries on Twitter, "Streams everyday? Why are my views dropping? Why aren't you guys watching? You said you wanted this!"

Maybe you terminally online weirdos are fine with that kind of streamer, or maybe some of you know that that just inevitably leads to boredom and are intentionally misleading vtubers on purpose, but the average viewer wants quality. The average viewer isn't gonna care about daily streams. They want something special, and when you stream everyday, it stops being special. Gura is taking the time she needs because she cares about quality and to make each stream feel special. She's way smarter than any of you babies crying in the catalog all day.

I saw a YT comment on her last stream saying that she's probably tired of streaming and lost her passion and shes just holding out until the end of her contract to quit.

Makes sense since she cover made her constantly travel long distances, force her to do concerts, sponsors, and advertising. She probably feels more like a tool to be milked for money than a actual streamer. Keep in mind its known that hololive girls don't get much. Anybody who is sane would either completely quit and never return or just find another option.

And what Gura wants is relevant at all because…? I’m usually all for respecting vtubers’ preferences for streaming content, because a vtuber who’s miserable is going to make shitty content. But when the vtuber seems to hate doing ANY content, there’s not really any point, is there?
I’ve had vtubers be happy about taking their content in directions I didn’t like. I moved on, and now I’m mostly just a tourist for my old oshi during buff streams. You can literally do that with Gura without missing a single stream, it is really not that hard.
