depends on the vtuber. Trying to guess their favorite color and get an image with that color as profile pick + have a name that doesn't suck usually works for me.

A 2view got genuinely upset when I was 'caught' watching another 2view that had just debuted from another corpo. I didn't even know she spied on her fans. It's actually not a nice feeling. Distance is good unless you're trying to purposely annoy paypigs from experience. If you really want to get attention from a 2view, find one with no greyfags and start posting. You'll stand out because of the color so she'll reply to you constantly for you're also a potential ATM to groom. There was a time when the viewer cheating theme was common among vtubers some time ago.
At that time they realized by looking at their biggest fans that some of them were watching multiple vtubers and "cheating".

I think for many they didn't realize this to be that type of relationship.
When you have thousands of viewers it can be reciprocated by the viewers too by having multiple vtubers they watch.
Must be the woman instinct to keep the higher value men for themselves, but those are the one who are spinning plates in real life.

After many graduations, I used diversification to prevent getting hit too strongly by another one, not realizing that the vtubers I chose were in it for the long term. But now it's difficult to change back after following multiple vtubers for years.

It's funny how the world stays the same through the virtual lens. The actors are just different.
The good ones were better at tolerating it.

Y'all want attention? My God damn brother just spent a fuckload of money on a '59 Tirranna with four Mercury 600 V12s. He decided he's going to wrap it in a ShyLily design because dad and mom didn't want their names plastered on a speed boat so he decided to name and wrap it in honor of his favorite VTuber.

He was originally going to do a Godzilla type wrap but went with ShyLily. Seems okay if you think about it tradition-wise because pirates used to name their vessels after a local bar wench or something different.
