It's not CCV. It's watch-time, but that metric is only visible to creators. Getting a lot of watch-time on a video or stream and then posting a lot of videos or streams that get much less watch time negatively affects how many impressions (number of times something gets recommended) YouTube will give your content. YouTube wants you to make content that keeps people on the platform for as long as possible. A viewer who watches something for 10 hours is worth more than 5 viewers who only watch for 1 hour each. If your content keeps doing comparatively better, it will get recommended more. If your content is doing comparatively worse, it will get recommended less. You're essentially competing with yourself.

My guess is that collabs, specially between branches are scheduled weeks and even some months in advance. So even if you are on hiatus its rude to not show up for the collab the other part already scheduled.
