Shockingly enough, it’s not hard to enjoy vtubers when you take a break from /vt/ and watch actual streams (or at least clips). Yeah, hearing people talk shit about vtubers when hearing the forced positivity is a bit of a shock at first, but once you realize a bunch of people are falseflagging, baitposting faggots and learn to filter them out, it’s not so bad.

You need to stop caring so much about what might happen, or could happen, and enjoy the time you have with your oshi. They won't be around forever, and instead of wasting time prevaricating on what some crazy asshole like myself or others say or do, give yourself time to appreciate the fact that they won't always be there, and this is very important. Learn to let go of those feelings. I'll even give you a ritual to help that you would normally have to pay someone to suggest. Gestalt therapy, cognitive restructuring, and cathartic release, are all very simple for this. Try it. Write down the thoughts, and burn them, or destroy them. That's a very entry level technique.
