Twitch barely enforces music copyright infringement stuff. Their content ID system is basically a half assed effort to appease copyrite holders to get them off of their backs. They barely enforce anything with it, and I've never seen people get worse than a vod mute from it

However there are some things that will reduce your chances of getting notices by the system in the first place. Number one thing I would recommend doing is turning off auto publishing of vods for streams that you think might get content ID'd. You can blacklist auto publish for certain categories you think might have copyright problems.

Secondly you can make it so that your music is being played in a separate track that does not get saved by the twitch servers. I won't get into how to do this, there are plenty of guides that can show you.

Third, there is a ton of music that is not even in the content ID system. Video game music (non-licenced) is especially nice for this, for whatever reason video game companies very rarely care about protecting music copyright after a game's release. I have played tons of games music and never get content IDs on any of it. And you can get this music in any genre you want more or less. Just type "genre name" game music mix into YouTube and you will be halfway there.

Lastly, less popular music, especially of older, strange, or less popular genres, is often not recognized by content ID at all. It's still somewhat risky to play these but you might be surprised at how rarely you will be hit.

Then, I need to buy materials to make the product I’m selling or pay another website to create the product potentially run into errors with the product and need to put more money into it.

Next, I will paying for shipping materials and potentially fees. If it’s something like a poster that can be printed at a local store I am then also paying for Gas to get to and from places.

So then with my product I need to at least reasonably price everything to cover the costs of making and materials before I see any profit.

Why would an artist agree to this ? Because I fucking paid for their services and I’m doing the bulk of the work for a product to be sold instead of their lazy asses posting a digital file for downloading.

Please see a therapist anon. This is an unhealthy thing that I have struggled with as well. Cutting can be a way to deal with emotional pains but you need to understand that it can lead to infection, accidentally going too far and seriously injuring yourself, and spiraling. Both I and I know Daiya would never want to see that so please see a professional who can help you process emotions in healthier ways.

I went into a couple streams to check viewerlists, and there are some common bots in most aspies streams with the same names that aren't picked up by the view count. This I wouldn't read too much into.

However, if you count real people vs. bots, there's definitely something suspicious going on in Kuku and Geltaran's stream. In the latter I counted 6 real people, while viewcount was around 11-12. Total viewerlist was around 15-16 entries.

Not saying they're intentionally floating their numbers, though it is kinda sus that both are in situations where they need affiliate ccv. Charley and AcePCaswell for example have a much more realistic viewercount if you exclude the common bots.

Be careful using the chat user list for anything. It is incredibly unreliable for any kind of information, even worse than the notoriously unreliable view count number. There are lots of bots that will sit in chats to monitor them for various reasons. And there are very commonly used browser extensions that allow you to make yourself not show up on the user list. Not to mention the user list is very slow to update and both takes forever to list people that are actively chatting and will leave people in the list who have been gone for a long time.
