I've just done a couple tests, its slow (a couple minutes at worst) but they do load if you keep the tab open. Everyone else is redownloading everything when I restart services, so I am going to assume for the first 30minutes it'll be real slow and get better with time.

fee is important! it signifies people that this is not a fund to buy and sell daily but one that asks for commitment to long term!
it means someone cant deposit one day and withdraw the next as they will not make money if they do! which is important for koyolabos continued growth as koyotes carefully calculate how much of everything to buy and sell daily and having funds go down in a way they cant predict every day would be a hassle!
on the flip side, koyolabo has shown impressive growth every single week that means that anyone that invested is guaranteed a tidy profit from it! koyolabo posts a bullet8n every monday with its current value!
also it gives great dividends!
all that said, the fee will drop to 0 when koyolabo reaches a point where its explosive growth is unsustainable/when it reaches maintenance mode/or should active managing quit!
that is the koyolabo promise!
meaning that if the fund reaches the cyclical boom and bust around a set level cycle, it will be able to be used as delta holdings is now!
but such a day is still far off!

Pretty much, I consider Nasfaq more or less over for this leaderboard unless you're really aiming for a long term rise (as in, years), Priestess and his group have won. The only ways forward imo are a reset or powercreeping the dollar (both refused by devs), seasons, a leaderboard with another currency or just gameplay mechanics without leaderboards

Stop paying dividends to stagnant accounts, for starters. Not sure that'd dislodge Priestess since I'm pretty sure there's a couple of people in the Top 20 with external bots still doing autotrades, but you'd clean a lot of the Top 100 just by making them do trades to stay on the leaderboard.

the idea of seasons sounds fun!
not sure about other currencies, but purging inactive accounts, or rather, archiving them might be good too (they aren't deleted but they maybe stop showing up in leaderboards and the like if they havent logged in in a while?)
its maybe a bad idea to have everything covered in corpses that cant be dislodged...
think seasons is the best idea and one id really like, it would encourage people to be active, interact, give a tangible goal/timeframe, something to post in the thread about, something to bet on maybe too, in short, content
it would also let people leave the corpses in place if they don't want to touch them, or even allow for them to be immortalized while still giving people something to do beyond inventing their own sandbox goals...

Seasons seem to be the current plan among the dev team. But it all goes back to the same old problem, understanding the current system enough to make changes to it that don't break the rest

I've been given access to the game files by Honk (I won't call myself a dev yet since I haven't made significant contributions to the game) and I kind of understand what the code does. I'm going to need to learn TypeScript, React, database management among other things, and more JavaScript since I'm still very much a noob at it to make contributions to the game
