I'm pretty sure they're in Japan still. It's the only thing that makes any sense to me. Can't really think of any project that sounds like something Pomu would do that would require them to be together in person for weeks that isn't in Japan. Almost everything that can't be be done just as well online requires them to be in Japan.

Yeah that is kind of late. But it doesn't really seem all that radically unbelievable to me that you might be up later than usual in a foreign country, eating junk food while sharing a hotel with a friend. If anything it seems like the kind of time you would do that. Busy during the day, do something at night, then hang out at the hotel for a bit while getting some food. If you are thinking thats too late for them to be able to do work the next day then maybe they aren't doing anything work related the next day or it isn't starting until the afternoon.
