I was very very close to him. been a long time since I was an /asp/ie but let me drop the info I know.

His long time league and steam accounts have both been inactive since he disappeared. these accounts were personal and just renamed, not brand new chuuba front accounts.

he posted an anhero note before signing off and disappearing. the note apologized for ending it and wasn't anything if note.

he was failing uni and about to get kicked out. his parents were increasingly upset at him for this and did not know he was an /asp/ie femboy chuuba. so if he got kicked out and had to return home, the lack of privacy might be why he's been MIA.

the week before disappearing he spammed me on discord with pics and videos in a weird rapid fire way. he also decided to do the note at a time he knew I'd be offline and asleep (early morning EU, practically dead night na) I found about the note from a mutual after I got worried.

he had been having especially bad menhera moments the week leading up to the disappearance. mostly due to failing uni. I'd encourage him to study but he always made excuses about it. he also randomly posted a photo of a knife in our dms with the caption "these are so cool" and that just seemed off to me, was the third to last thing he sent me.

I don't know anons...me and him were closer than I think most /asp/is were to him. it's why I'm still searching for the truth all these months later. I need to know if he pickled. I have a feeling just nagging at me that something's wrong.

I've decided if I don't find out I'm taking a trip to London. I know where he went to school and lived/grew up from when me and him did google street view to compare where we grew up.If the top brains here can't figure it out I will and report back.

I've been a pngtuber for about a year now, I have a small following (with a surprising % of female viewers), I'm having trouble getting my name out there in the vtubing space but I am getting in good with the games I mainly play, zomboid in particular, and slowly but surely ffxiv, with some big names shouting me out as I hang out in their chats - I feel like I'm on the cusp of larger popularity however I still don't have a lot of money to invest in becoming a real anime boy.
It would not take a lot of time or money however to make a vroid on brand and fairly close to my desired end design.
I was hoping to go straight from png to live2d but it's looking like another year minimum. Should I just bite the bullet and go vroid even if the design is not exactly to my taste?

I already have a fantastic mic and camera , and my computer is beefy enough to handle the programs, the only thing holding me back is style.

Fair point. But a lot of that can change with spell selection, right? I think one can have things like meteors or necromancy and just not acknowledge reality warping or something. I also like to take cues from Kingdom Hearts, if I were a fighting game character (an idea I've thought about drawing once or twice, or making mock-ups ot of) I'd fight like Sora in Smash, with floaty movement, a bit of melee with the key staff thing, and some elemental spells for zoning. Maybe Kingdom Hearts, which has less spells but very powerful characters in lore anyway, could be a good lore reference for powers since I already kinda designed myself after it
