I feel like a shill but I promise I'm not, I think Ame would genuinely enjoy it. It's a 3v3v3 game where it's basically a mix of capture the flag into king of the hill. All the environments are entirely destructible too so shit can get crazy. Like if you cap a point on top of a building, the other team can blow up the the lower floors to drop the capture point down to the ground floor. Ame has unfortunately normalized disappointment. Even if she does 5 streams a week for a few weeks, as soon as she misses, cancels, or moves a stream it's just "Yep this is how she is now". I wish she didn't ALWAYS jump at the chance though. I get she wants to be considerate but it gets to the point where she's more concerned about making sure the other girls and their fanbases have a good time and we're always holding the bag. It's not about japan. During the time people were recording, she was in a massive mental slump. Probably exasperated by just recently being socially drained about interacting with most other holos in japan. She might've just felt too anxious about recording singing again, she's only really comfortable when singing for chat in karaokes.

Ame has almost consistently did a karaoke every 1-2 weeks for months now, but couldn't participate in a singing event.

She has no other good excuse like Haachama. She doesn't have any big projects recently (this year's Halloween was her most uneventful yet, without any creative streams or VR stuff), and she didn't have any major health issues too.

The only big thing she had these past couple of months was that two-week break where she just disappeared without saying anything. She admitted not having a good excuse for that one, it was just dread after three years in Hololive.

I think she just refused because she didn't want to join. She's going through burnout and said something during a discussion about VR about not wanting people to expect things from her. Was also kinda expecting something since she hinted something big during this Halloween, but it was just some watchalong and yet another karaoke.

It's disappointing but it is what it is. I kinda want her to take a genuine long break, since it feels like she hasn't gotten her groove back yet. She just kinda forced herself to come back from that indefinite ghosting break after seeing some ifunny meme about her fans being worried.
