Honestly he should have just let her buy the Pikamee IP and let her continue to collab with VOMS members. IdolEN paid top dollar for vtubers of her size to watch their debuts for one hour. Pikamee would have done it for free, while also giving them a bunch of exposure through frequent collabs if she were allowed to.

There was no VOMS after Monoe got fired. There was just Pikamee and TMSK, with Miu and DMJ looking like replacements to Monoe instead of new members. VOMS used to be this happy-go-lucky group of friends with sympathetic designs. They were the likable underdogs. They had soul. That image was completely shattered after Monoe got the boot and they never recovered from that.
Also, Monoe was the one who reached out to bigger JP vtubers and organized collabs. With her gone there was no way for VOMS to grow their Japanese audience which caused Pikamee to gravitate towards EN trash.
