She was an OG years before Kizuna Ai, made one of the first, if not first vtuber company, from which Mirai Akari and OtakuMOE (Natsumi Moe) debuted from. Moe worked for them first as an English translator, animator then as a talent. There was some drama involving abuse and other very typical vtuber company's shenanigans. Probably part of the reason why Moe stayed indie for so long and delayed joining a company.
Back then, they didn't even have rigged models, they just took png's and animated them to move with software and uploaded them to youtube. Have a look for yourself:

I remember a small random mini drama they made in jp vtubing world, by talking about how easy vtubing is and that anyone can become one now, how the market is oversaturated and low effort, how repetitive it became, and that the fad is basically over.
