For me it's difficult to watch right now bc/ of the subathon, I'm basically forced to sit through whatever she decides to do.

try rewatching a 24 hours vod, and then if you want give a re-listen to a part of it R.I.P. because the scroll bar is too small and you gone back an hour, it's super hard and annoying for me to check the entire 24 hours vods

nah. its purely about convenience, not quality or modernity of content. i have a bookmark for my yt subs page. i click it to see who's live. i pick one of the live channels to play as bg noise while i work. its that simple. i must spend about 12h every day tuning into various vtuber channels. it is all I watch because no ads, no globohomo propaganda thrown in my face. its a content diet that I can rely on.

yt would be wise to not force ads... they get a LOT of SC money from the people who stick to YT just for the ability to dodge ads.
