Okay, I think it's about time we have a serious talk about chuubas and their health. I've been noticing way too many instances of chuubas having legitimate serious health issues. Like way too many for it to just be a coincidence. There has to be some correlation here. Is it because girls with health issues are more terminally online and more likely to become chuubas? Let's try to get to the bottom of this phenomenon.

Anon, it isn't complicated. Streamers dont just calmly talk for hours on end for days on end but also scream and yell when reacting to things and this is going to end up giving you issues.

Zaion already told people the truth behind these radio silent "health" breaks and "vacations". HoloEN and NijiEN prefer do use stealth suspensions because they are Japanese corpos. That means they do everything possible to shift blame onto their vtubers to protect their precious corpo reputation.

There are multiple factors but it's pretty straight forward
>Voice acting is a line of work that will hurt your in the long run
It was always the case (cf the interview Marine did with seiyuus). And for vtubers it's ten time worse since they stream for long times. The more the voice they make is far from their natural voice, the more it will hurt them fast. That's for the throat issues.
>Vtubing both attracts people with unhealthy life habits and encourages it
Most people that are interested by becoming chuubas are otakus/gamers/neets who lived an unhealthy lifestyle for all their life. Then you add that to the workload that comes with being a chuuba that results in stuff like overworking and cutting sleep. Especially if they're in a big corpo. A hag in her mid 30's is required to make the same efforts than a girl in her early 20's. All of that will sooner or later take toll on the chuuba's body
>The case of people already really sick that became chuubas as an escape
That's also a recurring thing. People that are isolated because of their illness will start to pick up streaming because that's all they can do... Vtubing is the best option for them because they can pretend they're not sick at all. No need to worry about showing themselves looking like shit on camera.
There is also something about them picking up more nerdy hobbies since they can't do other activities and therefore more interested to become a chuuba, but that's just a conjecture.

That is also true but there are numerous both talents and livers that have known health issues. Most talked about on stream without having anything to do with a break or "vacation"

It's not that deep, it's just that a lot of girls have no idea how to take care of themselves. Let's consider Hololive for a moment in this example.

1. They don't exercise (despite eventually having to dance), Even people who don't have to dance should also be exercising regularly so their bodies don't become weak.
2. They don't eat right and don't get enough nutrition. They're consistently eating like shit or eating garbage.
3. They don't sleep right. Every single one of them has a fucked up sleep schedule, the JP girls aren't immune to fucked up sleep schedules even though they live in Japan.
4. So many of them are putting on a voice that their throats are getting absolutely fucked, and not in a good, sexy way.

In a nutshell, they suck at getting their shit together. But as we all know, mental cases like these girls make for generally good vtubers.

Most of the girls have anxiety problems and are employed by a slimy corporation that lies to, stonewalls, and overworks them to the point of breakdown.
Remember when IRyS had to basically overdose on steroids to go record because she had a throat infection and the shareholders were too cheap to just reschedule the damn session? Pretty good example. She could have actually hurt herself doing that.

Average chuuba at debut: weeb/spergy weirdo that very probably can't cook, doesn't work out, has a terrible sleep schedule and plays some game, be it a gacha, a shooter, animal crossing or whatever way, way TOO much.
They get money.
Feel the need to stream.
Want to do projects.
Time management is shit 9/10 of ten, so they never bother to learn to cook or manage their time, now they are in full on grind mode, sleeping at 4AM and waking up at 1, ordering food that lasts them for 2 days, and feeling tired all the time.

Plus, those that stream or talk a lot, especially those pitching up their voice, have vocal strains.

A sedentary lifestyle is not healthy and leads to health problems. What do vtubers do? Sit at a computer all the time. They don't even have a commute like most workers who sit at a computer all day.

>> No.61573825

The majority of them don't and the majority who claim to are just faking it. Mumei and maybe IRyS are the only ones who have bad singing technique and actually developed clinical asthma, mumei always coughs on stream and powers through it.

yeah yeah good troll post or whatever but I'm amused nobody can pick out which ones have IBS, an extremely common disease that every sufferer of basically just hides because there's no mature reaction. there's especialy no mature reaction in the age of human resources where dehumanizing suspicions about individual employees are pretty much the constant topic of discussion and function as a kind of internal currency. if you reveal your illness to an HR "professional" expect to not receive less suspicion and instead be subject to a professional rumor mill who tells everyone at your work that your poopy hole hurt.

so no, people hiding health problems in this context is not unreasonable or unheard of, it's a new social phenomena caused by the death of the system in which managers hired their own employees. in fact work in general was a vastly happier, more efficient system with perhaps 1/10th as many social issues. if you want to see the cause of today's social ills march on down to HR and see the face of the overweight white females who treat your personal secrets and weaknesses like a video game.

if an HR ghoul is reading be assured you do the opposite of everything you say on the tin and you do it for corporate, you are the ultimate scab and unironically going to hell if that place exists as described

Who would have thought that jobs that require you to sit on your ass all the time combined with unhealthy eating, sleeping, and sometimes even drinking habits will destroy your body? Then you have girls like Marine or Suisei back in the day who do so much hellish screaming or do voices that quite literally slowly destroy their throats due to improper usage or those that scream sing and fuck up their throats that way.
Being a vtuber can be a dream job for a lot of people yeah, but if you don't use that extra time you have to at least attempt to take care of your body, you're gonna spend your later years wishing you took better care of yourself like so many 30+ people do nowadays. You don't even need to be some A list body builder or do some retard diet behind the scenes, just eat decently and not live off delivery and try and go for walks every once an a while, even if it's just in circles around your room.

Considering all the other petty shit Niji does that Holo doesn't (like stealing the play buttons), I seems far more likely that this is just a Niji thing.
