This has been going on for a fair bit, before the glitz and glam really hit hard, so I think she probably needed a good exercise routine and less sugar and it just caught up with the stress. Benedryl taking for a long time can also take awhile to filter out. If she got used to someone playing with her facial area and massaging her scalp, could also have been a mental thinking the body associated with sleep, or the fact the massages in childhood inadvertently treated a deeper neurological issue like pressure headaches and she and the family didn't know it. Things she definitely should note to the doctor. If something unfailingly worked without medication for years, its probably the right direction to check for a deeper issue. You never want to take medication you don't need.
