indesding vid on the difference between YouTube and Twitch with supposed insider info. recommend 1.5x speed. bit of a reach to say Twitch will be bankrupt in 4 years but otherwise some good points like no one watches vods on Twitch and bad impressions/recommendations. I always heard on /asp/ that Twich is "free views" and so good for 2views and newer chuubas but I always had a feeling they were full of shit. It just didn't make sense to what I saw on the platform with the hundreds of literally 0view streamers in every category.

Just had a nice dinner, I made meatballs mixed with parmesan cheese. The best part about making meatballs is getting that nice mix of ingredients egg, panko, cheese, meat, and squeezing it all together, it's really fun. had some green beans and broccoli with it, pan-fried for that nice char then lightly steamed to get them soft. With some buttery mashed potato too. All with a nice homemade gravy on top.

I'm playing around with the idea of ripping the watermelon game website to replace the assets. So far I removed two eval() statements from main.js and settings.js that were intended to redirect the site to suika-game.app if running on a different domain. But it still redirects. I can't find any more eval() or window.location code. Removing settings.js makes it stop redirecting. Anyone better at debugging than me who can identify why it is redirecting? There must be some hidden code.

project.js has a bunch of "https://suika-game.com" references in it, I'd scrub the code for anything with that string and modify it to pyon if possible. I assume it works fine on localhost since they've hard coded that in too.

You're unfortunately looking at minified javascript which means all the variable names and shit have been reduced to single letters to lower filesize for the final build.

I'm traumatized over the last time I tried to make sausage gravy for biscuits. I was a retard and left the fresh sausage in the fridge for like a week and it went totally off and rank but I didn't notice until it was cooking. Rotten sausage stank up my entire apartment worse than anything I've ever cooked before. I should probably try it again. It was one of my dad's favorite recipes and one of the few ones I got written down before he died.

I also like peanut butter and bananas in oatmeal. If you've never put peanut butter in fresh hot oatmeal I definitely recommend it.

that is something i have never tried but i am intrigued (most mornings i have oats for breakfast). i have tried bananas in oatmeal but i didn't care for it. however that is probably because i should have added them after it had cooled down a bit, instead i added them before the boiling water. come to think of it, i think i also tried microwaving it too, because the electric kettle i was using at the time wasn't bring the water to a proper boil. regardless, i will give it a try again

What I do is put the peanut butter in as soon as it's done cooking and still hot in the pot, and stir it well. The peanut butter kinda melts and gets evenly distributed. Then put the banana slices in and they warm up, and transfer to a bowl.

I always liked the Bobiverse books rendition of it. Forget the body, give me a hypercube computer core where my mind is uploaded and network access to really really good 3D printers. I could make my own body then, or more likely use speed intelligence to program my own super realistic virtual reality inside the cube where my body can be whatever I imagine.

It's called speed intelligence because I'm not technically smarter than I am right now, but I'm significantly faster on account of computer processing power. To "me", inside the cube, nothing is really different it's just like time has slowed down outside since I'm "thinking" faster. Basically I can spend way more time working on problems than anybody else, and it seems like I come up with answers in a few seconds but really I spent weeks/months on them.

i wish i never would have picked up adderall bros. after my mom died i really focused on my coursework. i shortly after found myself longing for a girl that did not share reciprocating feelings, so i sunk deeper into isolation and my studies. my degree required i take some math courses, which i ended up really enjoying so i switched majors to pure mathematics. i didn't really do well in math growing up, but found i was actually indeed very talented at it (for loners, it really is the ultimate timesink, plus it never lies to you). anyway, i'm a wagie now and landed a job where i feel i do need these meds.. or perhaps i don't NEED them, but it wouldn't be nearly as enjoyable and i wouldln't be nearly as productive.. but i feel they are having a deleterious affect on my physical and mental health

I had to figure out on my own that my job doesn't matter and being superstar productive person on the team actually wasn't important at all. I put my self-worth into my job and have to learn the hard way that this leads to destruction when they decide to just cancel your project or the thing you put your heart and soul in is something that nobody actually likes and they don't want to use it.

Do the opposite of what you're looking at. Take some vacation time instead of amphetamines. Being gone for a day or a week won't cause the company to collapse, not responding to texts or emails for a bit won't ruin anybody's life. Things will just chug along without you.

i know how you feel champ. however seeing some of the AI stuff has actually made me realize that being a proper artist can be more advantageous since AI basically just pools images together to make an elaborate collage rather than understanding what its making. i think we talked about it a little bit back in july when champs were making america themed generations and kept producing images with weird made up guns. an AI doesnt understand what an M16 is, or that there's different variants like the A1, A2, and A4. it just grabs a bunch of random gun parts and mashes it together into something nonsensical. thats also why it makes basic anatomical mistakes like giving a character a third arm or extra fingers etc. even with some really good generations you can still find basic errors hidden in the backgrounds. even with fictional stuff it has problems. i see it a lot with AI generated stuff related to 40k where it may produce something that vaguely looks like it could fit into the universe, but doesnt actually exist in it. like with the M16 example, an AI doesnt understand what aquila power armor is so it just makes something up. i will say that AI's biggest strength is rendering (as in colors, lighting and shading) which is why at a surface level it looks really good. maybe im just coping idk. i still havent used AI myself but i feel like i'd be incredibly frustrated by that lack of control

ehh... i think script kiddies, frameworkers and other frontend monkeys are at higher risk than the low level guys. but even then, just as you describe for art, LLMs like chatgpt and the like aren't replacement for programmers. they are more just additional tools
now i'm not a programmer (entirely, yet). i do use some scripting in my work, and i am working towards a programming role, and i have been using machine learning models in my projects for several years now. so while i'm definitely no expert, i think we're all safe (as you said, when you begin using it extensively, you see the power it has but also its limitations and vulnerabilities)
