It does seem impossible to love her anymore. She's rarely around and most of her streams aren't very good.
But she did do two songs with dead Haachama while all the other ENs (even Chama's friends Mumei and Bae) have pretended she never existed. That's nice of Ame, and an honest-seeming acknowledgement of "where she comes from."

I feel like the people who do are half casuals who don't actually-care that much about their oshi being a relevant/current streamer, and half people who think it's a cardinal sin to switch oshis so just don't and will defend her to illogical degrees in order to post-purchase rationalize keeping her as an oshi and rationalizing to themselves that the money/effort spent on her was worth it.

Chumbuds do this too although I really don't understand how anyone could still really fucking give a shit about Gura at all anymore when she clearly hasn't fucking given a shit about Hololive for like 2 years running now. I guess tons of them are casual too, like they don't take the oshi term seriously anyway in reality, and many of them at least here are clearly more in love with the character itself at this point than the chuuba. "She's just a good design, she's just cute" etc - not really anything to do with the content, because there basically is no content anymore from her. Kind of like how people all-in on an anime waifu will buy statues, dakis etc of her for years after that character stopped functionally existing because her anime/manga ended, people do that for Gura too still. I feel like they kinda don't actually do this for Ame as much, they have a real expectation she will eventually be "back" and have fixed her shit and stream again - but I mean when has this happened in Hololive? I struggle to think of a JP, ID or EN completely crapping out for a year+ and then coming back strong streaming most days of the week as if they're starting fresh again. That just doesn't fucking happen. It probably won't happen with Ame. So make your peace with that and probably, just fucking find another oshi if you're gonna be disappointed with her lack of effort going forward because that just won't ever improve and your alternative is to just literally un-person Ame and just treat her like a theoretical character like chumbuds are doing now.

Mori and Wawa are going strong still, so I mean if you like either of those you're still fine, but beyond that yeah ~half the gen are washed up has-beens now by their own choices. Ina is kinda still in the game (despite that huge-ass break last year) and at least does stream a fair bit still sometimes, just not to the point you can assume she'll usually be there for you to lean on compared to how the Advents are in their new hotness phase.

I used to like her back when she would actual stream and have a schedule. Now she barely streams, doesn't make a schedule because she can never stick to it, cancels her streams because tummy hort, and phones it in when she actually does. She always complains that she has a lot to do behind the scenes but unless it's Japan only or stuff that's getting canceled, nothing she's doing is front facing so it looks like she's doing nothing.

I understand burnout and what not but there has to be something that you enjoy streaming or playing. Just do that three times at week at least to justify being a talent
