UMG is telling Mori and her management to do something about her music sales falling off so they have been pushing her more, like telling girls to raid her. It would explain why Mori is trying so hard now for numbers when she didn’t care before. UMG doesn’t want to do another concert until they see improvement, otherwise we would have had another one by now.

Konami has a deal with Cover to do this first collab with Mori so they get access to girls like Pekora Marine and Miko in the future. That’s the only way I see why they pick her of all people, because Cover need to make UMG happy first.
