Yeah this part was really long for what needed to be accomplished. I'd say the reasoning of why it's the entire weekend was to address the issue that voters aren't given enough time to see the poll. There was merit to that claim for the roster poll, but the last 2 threads have been so dead that medal voting could've gotten done in 24 hours.

Discussion in the roster threads was mostly a lot not complaining about the roster vote that stopped as soon as the voting concluded and wasn't as holo-dominated as people predicted. There's not really much to complain about for the medal vote as it's already as fair as it possibly can be and people care less about medals as they do the roster

I was asked by people for more time on the poll so I gave more time for the roster poll. If I had said itd end today I'd end it today. I said from the first thread this weekend that itd end on Monday and I'm not going to end it 24 hours earlier than I said when there is still a decent amount of votes coming in and races that are separated by a razor edge. Whether it's 72, 48, etc hours next time we do it is something me and the other manager will discuss. I said 72 hours this time and so it'll be 72 hours.

It's currently 2pm as in 24 hours before the poll closes and I'll tell you why I can't close it early. The race for the 2nd gold spot is currently separated by 2 votes. The race for the last medal spot is also 2 votes. If the results were already certain I'd end it now, but I can't close the poll a whole day earlier than I said when 5-10 votes could completely change the medal outlook of the team.
