First, you have to consider the context in which she mentioned Melody at the time, she was the eccentric and edgy gaijin that didn't know much about the industry and took advantage of it to get away with certain things that wouldn't normally fly if people thought she knew more about the industry and the language at the time, she has mentioned this a few times.
She did it as Coco, which allows her to detach from her real self, a collab between a virtual ahem... girl and a Yakuza dragon can actually work, probably the same way it worked on her first collab with Polka with that bomb defusal game, by that i mean the setting, she was eating and getting drunk at a hostess club and being bothered by Polka on the phone.
Even when using her Koikatsu model it's based on herself, the "line" isn't as blurred, i can't really imagine kson collabing with Melody, it's not really the kind of content she makes.
Oh and i wouldn't put so much weight on their supposed friendship, Coco calls anyone she messages a few times on discord a friend.

I'm not saying it can't happen, in fact i can see Coco caving in after getting nearly stalked by vshojo girls on twitter every time she makes a tweet, and it will suck because people will use it to shitpost when in reality she's just being nice.

There's a couple big hurdles to her joining Vshojo. The first is that she wants to be a Japanese language streamer, and at the moment the group is all English. The second is that she doesn't care about money, her streaming career from now is basically gonna be fun-based, and she will most likely have the most fun as an indie doing whatever she wants without answering to anyone and no behind the scenes work at all.

But on the other hand, she likes making creative stuff. So perhaps they could convince her to work with them to maybe make something like the Vshojo version of Hologra. She really likes Hololive though, so I'm not sure how interested she would be in doing similar stuff but just with different girls. She may just want to move on and do other things instead.

They will definitely be relentless in trying to recruit her though. She would be a massive asset to their company, especially if they have any plans in expanding into Japan. I would imagine there are a shitload of Japanese companies in her DMs as well.

It is why her Fansa cover really hits me hard, even though the song itself isn't amazing. I really, really enjoy Weather Hackers. It's definitely a favorite. I think EN branch will play a part in this actually, if you want to keep up the Jesus analogy then they are her disciples. Coco has encouraged all the girls, but also reiterated it specifically to the EN girls, that they need to keep pushing the boundaries creatively. No idea about Kanata. She cut all contact her past so who knows. Though if you want to feel a little better she was doing a room review stream last week and she name dropped Nene and exclaimed Mama when she saw a fans Lamy daki. This also caused her to admit she is a huge hololive otaku though she was surprised to find out they released a Lamy Daki.

Though the best highlight of the stream was the fan with a ton of Liz figures. Delta started to gosling about how cute Liz is and how much she loves her design she apparantly looked at a lot of pictures of her.
