I'm just doing what I think works out. I already fixed the crunchiness for the most part (I should probably turn up the compressor so it stops clipping when I'm loud), so I just got unlucky. The replacement shouldn't have any hardware issues, this must've been super rare.

I don't know the right terminology to ask this properly so bear with me...I've noticed a lot of the vtubers in the Twitch ASMR category lately all have a similar art style. Actually there are two distinct "styles" I've noticed, one being a sort of well-animated, heavily-post-process fullscreen avatar (examples: gemuyo, whimsiez). The other being basically an illustration, not much animation, girl laying back on a bed or sideways (examples: asmr_marie, hina_asmr, japan_asmr).

Does anyone know what particular software these vtubers are using? Are there some new vtubing apps recently that easily produce these styles by default or something?

But yeah. The desk pad is 31.5 x 11.8 inches. It's actually too long lengthwise so parts of it just hangs down the sides. The desk is probably more like 25-27 inches lengthwise. You could just do a style guide. Paste a bunch of shit on MS Paint. Like the style of jacket or other piece of clothing you definitely want to have. Hair types from existing anime characters. Face/body types from existing anime characters. Shades of colors you want to use. Example characters with the aesthetics you're going for.

Unless the AI image you generated looks exactly like how you want your model to look, I think you would get a far more tailored end result from the artist by giving them a style guide.
