you are an absolute retard who knows absolutely nothing about business or economics. Most of the money these girls bring in are in merchandise and collaborations, with lesser amounts coming from stream + event revenue. If you force the girls to stream some of them will quit, which loses you the ability to make the largest sources of income off of them, as well as losing you the passive income they bring in even while not streaming (memberships etc). There isn't a single girl in holo who is a net negative on the company so they have no reason to ever risk one of them quitting.

Even the girls who dont stream sell out their limited edition merch sales which brings the company multiple tens of thousands a year at minimum in sales. They're independent contractors who set their own schedule. Managers aren't there to force them to stream. They're there to support the talents so they can continue bringing in revenue. Merch preparation is an example of this. Cover is likely satisfied with the revenue they bring in with easy revenue streams from merch and memberships.

This is often but not necessarily true, especially in hololive itself. Gura merch will always outsell nearly every other girl in the company regardless of how much she streams. Same with JP girls like Marine and Aqua. Additionally, again, you can't make merchandise of them at all if they quit. Anyone experienced in this field would rather have reduced income from lack of streaming than no income from them graduating. This issue is different outside of hololive because non-corpo chubas are usually their own managers, which creates an entirely different relationship.

Why live a lie? Memberships automatically draining wallets? Merch? Merch tanks if the girl starts to just suck and people get disinterested, see Kronii. It is doable to ride out the good will of an established fandom, mind you a fandom that is there and exists 100% BECAUSE SHE WAS STREAMING, and then just coast that goodwill into the dirt, gradually parasitizing and converting peoples' honest trust and good will into money for nothing. You can sometimes do this a while, even. But once a chuuba is clearly doing that they shouldn't be taken for anything other than someone bumming around abusing the trust of the remaining fans.

I'd argue it's basically cruel, just flat out being a bad person, to abuse the trust of strangers just for money, money given in good faith riding off a false hope. But that's on them to deal with. The quitters who just parasitize their oen former glory and image to live a falde promise, those are in reality all awful people, arguably except for Sana who had the decency to not do that and just be honest and quit. But Hololive clearly doesn't normally work like that, and I mean Cover has zero incentive to change this and be an honest broker in this matter because they get free money for nothing too.

Basically because the girl will only rarely tell you to stop giving money for nothing, and Cover itself never ever will, the onky way to stop is to do it yourself voluntarily. They won't close your walley for you.
