Omg I love Sakura Miko of twitch.tv

oh, you like to watch miko's watchalong on her twitch?

They seem like they'd get along, you know, if the language barrier wasn't a thing.

>> No.600819

She's legit, shame she'll be cucked by twitch at any moment at this point. Too many bans already.

She's uncanny as fuck

Make her model less realistic looking and she is fine. Something just feels off watching her. Her design is solid otherwise.

>she's a vtuber
so what's her character and how much does she try to separate herself from that character?

She acts just like every other female twitch streamer though, which is why she fucking sucks

This
I mean the whole program, movement and flow is amazing but that's about it
Melody has more charm ane characters and her set up is also pretty good

Yes. Another case of wasted potential.

Her VTuber model is "Miko" and is an android created by "The Technician", who is her irl self. She also did the design and rigging so it kinda makes sense. They have different ages and Miko is single while the technician is in a relationship, both of which are joked about a lot in streams (in the same vain as 17 season 2), pushing the 4th wall a bit. She also broke the wall in a recent stream where she worked on Miko's mechanics, though I think that's the first she's done like that so idk how frequent those are.

>> No.606455

>>606140
so she doesn't make any attempt to make Miko feel like a real "being"
which, among other reasons, means Miko isn't a vtuber

>> No.606458

>>598263
Her mouth movements are weird.

>> No.606842

She is a terrible interviewer. In-fact she is in general just extremely uncharismatic and awkward and is constantly carried on her own show by the people she "clout chases". Just goes to show how incredibly exploitable this market is

>> No.606862

She's creepy.

>> No.607313

She's genuinely funny too

>> No.607333

>>606455
if you mean her VTuber self is just herself and that she doesn't have a character, I think that would mean Matsuri, Hana Macchia (along with a good number of Nijisanji), and a lot of others aren't VTubers either. I think I've even seen some indies with avatars that are just themselves. It's fine to dislike her (hell I even have some criticisms) but that seems like a bit of a stretch.

>> No.607532

>>606455
You don't need a fake made up persona to be a vtuber. Just having a virtual avatar is enough.

>> No.608246

If your personality stays the same, that's fine but your character needs to be a separate entity from your actual self.
What I mean is that it's your character that runs the youtube channel, it's your character that streams, it's your character that uploads, not you.
You need to make your character seem like a real tangible being, which is why signed and financially backed vtubers try to be separate from their real life identities
it's an illusion and it needs to be maintained, if you're not doing that then you're not a vtuber

Nah, I'll keep the only true Miko

There's no appeal to this bitch, none, zero.

>> No.608963

since there are actual companies that deal in vtubing that there' a legitimate professional standard that's been set
what I've outlined describes the standard that's been set by those companies.
There's no way around it, if those points don't apply to you then you're not a vtuber

This.

Definitely a great showcase of technical skill but between her non-existent personality, awkwardness, and uncanny valley. She has no appeal outside a tech demo. Watching her literally feels like you're watching a company unveil new tech but they let someone who works in a lab be the actor.

She has funny eyebrows

She is a subversion of vtubing culture, she is genuinely good in coding and other "3 dimensional antics" she is the real "virtual youtuber" because she is in 3d and not cheap company popularized 2d anime girls
