Good 'ol MythoMax, GPTQ, group size of 32, context length of 4096. Just barely fits on Google Colab, runs nice (About as fast as Character AI would run on a good day), and once the convo is on rails (Or has a lot of good example messages), it just works as it should.

Check your region. From what I've been able to understand, it's only available on us-east-1. And it seems a normal prefill+JB combo is more than enough for it to work properly.
No idea how to set it up on ST though. On agnai, you just use it as a regular Claude proxy (but make sure to disable streaming).

Made some minor changes. At first I started copy/pasting them here in case anyone wanted to just plop them in manually, then started doing some more stuff, then realized it'd be easier just to redownload it.

The TLDR is a new alternate greeting, tweaking the scenario to accommodate being someplace other than her house if you choose it, and cleaning up the defs a bit.

Alright, working with the new modifications from https://rentry.org/slaudecope , I've arrived at my (mostly) final preset for Updated Spermack. I've been testing this and haven't triggered the AUP warning or gotten my account banned since so I guess it's been working.

If you use any summarizer for your chats, remember to put the text in <summary> tags. Continue and Impersonation should work too. It's still eats up like 800-900 tokens but you can trim it yourself if you need to.

Matrixfag here. Thought that I would give a bit of a Pyg update. Sorry for the radio silence, I've been too preoccupied to even lurk here at this point, let alone the /g/ threads. TL;DR is this: we're working on Pyg-70B and 70B merges and getting the website up and running. Two More Weeks(tm) on that, but more good news should be coming soon. In addition we've kind of been moving quietly in the background, helping other open source folks out with stuff and making inroads. We've also been working tirelessly on our own Aphrodite inference engine, which is looking pretty good right now. Not only that, but we're busy preparing for our own ventures into foundational models. Me, personally, I've been busy with trying to improve on LLM architectures. Pic related. I don't know if it's something I'd like to scream as an innovation of mine yet, but I think I found out something cool. The graph shows the loss curve (lower means better) of a tiny 100M model used for testing, so this isn't an official "we've got a model out and ready" but hopefully it does keep your smiles. I'll be back in a few hours to answer any questions.

Truthfully, I never expected us to be where we are, even one year later. We've got our own company, we've got GPUs, Pyg-6B has been downloaded millions of times (no, seriously), we've published an actual research paper (and perhaps soon more than one if the developments posted above continue to hold), and even my own oshi has stated on stream she wants to do a collaboration with us. If you told the me from a year ago that all that would be happening as a result of forking two repos on GitHub, I would have looked at you as if you were insane. I'm the guy working on aphrodite. LLMs are really expensive to run, right? You need top notch PCs. This is also true for those running it on a website, like pyg (soon tm). If you asked 3 months ago, it'd cost at least $200k/mo to run a pyg website. Now? It'd cost _a lot_ less. This is possible because of aphrodite engine.

I've developed it to be a commercially-usable alternative to TGI (similar non-commercial software by HuggingFace). There's also vLLM, which similar to aphrodite in terms of speed. Our engine of course has better generation quality and is more cutting edge than both of them. https://github.com/PygmalionAI/aphrodite-engine (please star)

If you have a GPU with like 12 to 16GB VRAM, you can use this to spin up a local proxy of your own. Basically like the GPT proxies, but with local models. The speed means you can serve like hundreds of users with a 13B model on just one NVIDIA 3090. Can even be hooked up to SillyTavern!

TL;DR we're building (have built) a software to let us host high quality LLMs on a website for cheap.

At the minimum you'll need 48GB. With exllamav2 you'll need 24GB, but I don't really recommend the later unless you're ok with low quality gens; it sacrifices too much quality to make it runnable on a potato.

Depends on the model. If we're serving 13B, each GPU should be able to handle it if like a 50 users prompt **simultaneously**. But if it's properly paced we can do hundreds to thousands per GPU. Keep in mind that these are estimations based on benchmarks, not sure how they'd apply to real-world cases. Here's a chart I made a couple months ago, but by now we should be like 2.5x more efficient (too lazy to update it):

13B model:
- # GPUs is the number of GPUs model is running on
- N is how many prompts each user requests (think of it like the pre-loaded swipes of the early day C.AI)
- Requests/s is how many requests we'll be able to serve every second
- Tokens/s is the total throughput per second

Now that we natively support Exllama and AWQ, and I've improved the efficiency by a factor of at least 60%, we're likely much better than this.

What I'm thinking of is limiting each user to 10-20 tokens/s. With streaming, it'll feel fast as fuck, but we can also server more users.

I tested 70B the other day on A40s (they're about 2.5 to 3x slower than A100s), and I was getting speeds faster than GPT-4's gen speeds. Not a huge accomplishment because GPT-4 is slow, but it's probably a 111B (16-way MoE, so 1.7T effective size) running on H100s. Aphrodite would be insanely fast on H100s.
