Surprised by the answers so far, I fell in love with Okayu and Korone cause they're the only ones who consistently play retro games. (Though I am sad I do miss out on getting to see my oshi play Minecraft or Resident Evil).

As for me, I finally got my ass into installing Yakuza 0 after Coco announced her graduation earlier in the month, but I'm only on Chapter 6 because I have a mahjong problem.

I enjoy the music more than the games, so I mostly don't really care that much about what they're playing, but I did find out about some cool stuff that I gave a shot because of them. Muse Dash is probably the best rhythm game I've played, shame about the bullshit, but Tamaki's song for it is pretty great. Also found out about Ender Lilies through Flare.

It probably helps that I became a complete normie about games since getting into vtubers, don't really keep up with gaming news and shit anymore, I became the person I thought didn't exist who finds out about new games and ports through Steam's front page.

I like to watch gaming streams if they either play something I already finished, or something I'm not interested in or at least yet. I've picked up games because I've seen vtubers play them. I hate watching them play something that's on my backlog. I don't want to get spoilered or cloud my first impression by watching someone play it before I get the chance to experience it myself.

I don't know what to say anymore. Before chuubas I never played Minecraft, I never watched a Minecraft stream, or even really knew other people personally who played it. But it's become one of my favorite chuuba games and I hate how much I know about the game now.

The hurdle with Minecraft is that seems like it's one of those "it's more fun with friends" in a serious sense so unless you have people to play with it on the regular, I feel like you can only try and do so much in the game before you feel like you'd burn yourself out.
