I honestly think it's better for her to just start over. She never intended it, but she gathered one of the most toxic vtuber fanbases ever. Also the fact that she grew too quickly for her to consolidate her position, of course there will be some doubt if she really does deserve the spot at the top. Even she is lead to doubt herself, which is unhealthy. She could just quit Hololive and do a low-profile reincarnation, and then from there build a small yet loyal fanbase she'd be comfortable with.

Honestly I'd be fine with anyone having the 3m, even Kiara, despite knowing for a fact that people viewbotted and subbotted her channel into success, because I've lurked their discords, including points where they do left-think, and is why I shit on chicken-cultists constantly. They still have bunker-type discords trying to subvert chuuba-ing, and it's as pathetic as you'd imagine most people who could get rejected from a fucking chan would be. unfortunately no. the last time I checked, the discords for bunkerchickens had about 20-odd members, some of the threads had like 30 unique posters, and some overly-loud twitters had like 12 followers, assuming total overlap it's about 30 people, realistically I think it's about 50 people, 20-odd of them centralized and planned, 30 of them split between individuals and groups

But don't worry, inorganic posts and ideas tend to die out. Cute and funny shark will be good vibes regardless, and I think the recent issues of the past year for cover has shown them that talent-management (especially taking care of them) is important, so we shouldn't have anymore similar issues to what's happened to coco and chammers.

Regardless, the best way to fight it is to just watch your chuubas and enjoy the content.

She got a lot of new fans all of a sudden. When that happens you just have to wait for them to get filtered out and lose interest. It always happens. What determines the type of fanbase that remains is whether good fans filter toxic fans before toxic fans filter good fans. Gura can also help with the filtering if she wants to by doing things certain people will find annoying. Once her live viewers drop to a certain amount she can stop filtering to retain her good fans.
