I don’t know if that’s necessarily the assumption
I think the main thing is the amount of importance people place on live views above all other metrics, despite even Cover prioritizing other numbers (like subscribers, even). Anons will discuss CCV all day every day, but I don’t often see in depth discussion about VOD views. This emphasis on live viewership is what causes anons to have so many strange beliefs and assumptions about how it all actually works
