Piece of advice:

Create your own background music for your stream.
Anything can be a instrument with enough creativity, and you have a device to record audio. Dealing with DMCA as hands of ownership of intellectual property changes could be complicated due to the evershifting nature of the law. What was free to use on stream BGM today may get your video a copyright strike 10 years in the future as property changes hands, and governments elect new leaders!
The easiest way to bypass this, and play it as safe as possible is to compose, and play your own music. Music forged by your own soul for the use of background music on your stream. A property that would be very difficult to pry away from you later on down the line. A property you could call your own. Imagine all the different things you make music with. Empty bottles, rocks, sand in a jar, a bag full of silverware, a lightswitch even. The possiblities are vast. You could even become known for your original music, and be asked to perform in front of a large audience who want to hear you play, or even invited to play for a small party of VIPs.

you might have a harder time finding an audience since you can't rely on anywhere near as many people watching you just because you're cute, but that would still be a total crapshoot even if you were female frankly. as long as you aren't obsessed with the numbers game and are sane enough to treat streaming like a hobby and not an escape from having to work a real job, you'll be fine.

eh, these are legit concerns. I know another indie that ran into some (minor) problems because their brother was a little shit that happened to find their twitch channel. I guess it really depends on what he's like, or more accurately the repercussions of him knowing. If it's something like getting you in trouble with family or the like then I can see why it'd be an issue, but if the biggest concern is him showing up in chat and saying personal stuff he shouldn't you might honestly be best off letting him know about it in advance and setting those boundaries before they become a problem.

I've spent the last week agonizing over every bit of my design. I spend hours drawing and redrawing and looking for inspiration and reference material but I still can't settle on something that makes me go "yes, this is it!" Part of the problem is that my drawing abilities aren't up to par with what I want. It would help a lot to see it in 3D, but interating on a design in 3D is a MASSIVE time sink. To create a 3D clothing pattern takes long enough as it is, but to have to do it dozens and dozens of times whenever I want to try something new would take me months. So for all I know the design I have now would could look fine once it's in 3D and I can add the proper volume, layering, texturing, and shaders, but I also don't want to spend days/weeks making everything and then feel unsatisfied.

The funny thing is, the head I'm using was made earlier this year just for fun, and making the body won't take long at all either. I've already got some bodies made and full retopologized, just waiting to be used, but I'll probably end up making a new one just for the purpose of this model.

Once I have the design set in stone it shouldn't take me more than a few weeks to do everything else, but getting to that point is difficult...

Another thing one might try is using a program like MuseScore to create and play sheet music. I'm not a lawyer, but having your own sheet music seems like a good idea to prove your ownership of the music. Writing sheet music in MuseScore is far more cumbersome than sequencing in a DAW (and you have to learn sheet notation, ugh!), but it comes with a full sound library of instruments for you to use and has a completely free license for any creations in the program.

Even more, you can integrate the learning process into your content, tinkering with sounds and going through tutorials, making simple beats and harmonies as you share your journey of learning.
