Back when I was more of an animu watcher, japanese TV stations scheduled late night shows in the same way and the sub groups couldn't start their job before the episode aired, so something airing at 25:30 makes perfect sense to me for example. It just means that it airs after midnight but you're most likely going to stay up for it.
